can you play 2H without rampage+berserk?

As physical damage dealerw mages cant keep up to balance physical prorate so almost always are damage is lower. So sometime spam is better because although due to proration my metoer does 80k in total i can do it impact smite once every 1.5 seconds. However cf need 30seconds to do 2mil.
80k(lowest dmg) x15 is 1.2 mil so i still can do higher.
2mil cf is around more top tier player but due to all the spamming it might not even do 1.7mil. Ofc such spamming action is bad for whole team but even tanks spam physicals. What can u do are u gonna say but i can do 10mil on yeti but in actual fights im not that awesome.
Dont go too much for visual damage because its those who live the longest and have mana constantly are those who will do more dps

 

I know what is +50% and i have currently 101 flat cr >.>
Didnt test my spamability, just tested the dmg on don yeti, but it doesnt live long enough for me to see if I run out of mana or not, lol (should probably try venena).
Yes, but I was thinking w/o 1000aspd from berserk I'd probably need a Tapir? (atm I have 26ampr)
Im interested in some short-mid combos that I could use for good damage and being mp friendly (lol?)

 

Ive recently gotten into tank i have a tapir some ampr on ava 10mp with decoy i am able to get 1almost full mana always. Idk if its enough for 2h as they have higher mp costs. But keep in mind my tank only has like 100 apsd due to heavy armor but ur ampr rate will prob triple with a bit more aspd.

 

I personally changed my 2hs to make use of the gorgeous Oni items + my Integridar. My role is a semi-tank, Can probably main tank too honestly if it's a team of chocolate eaters.

I don't use rampage and berserk so I can keep my defense up (I have 100 Crit without it). It's a really nice build as I still do a butt ton of damage and can solo lots of hard bosses sans EB (I did mardula hard solo without using any EB it was kinda cool).

Point is, It's very doable to play without rampage and berserk. End all your combos with trigger slash and use Decoy. Kairiki is not recommended since the 10 Sec buff is kinda lame. I highly recommend grabbing Backstep as a starter for Buster blade and maxing out shukuchi so you get that nice sweet 1st hit AMPR bonus.

Impact -> Run up to boss and Meteor -> Back Step. Back Step -> Buster Smite -> Finale Smite. Hit boss a few times and your MP Will be back to normal.

 

The last time I tried Mardula hard solo no EB, I failed at the very last moment xD The autos hurt because I'm using Berserk and Rampage. May I know what equips you use to reach 100 crit? Are you using Astute?

I see.. Too bad I missed the Oni Garb and Horns.. But there was no guarantee I won't lose them due to the rollback either xD Thank you.

 

Thia is the same reality I'm coming to grips with: 2h is nice but fits in a strange place. Once i got a good handle on 1h and gb tanking i found it odd to have a 2h tank and theres an abundance of dps out there, so where do I fit in? Theres something missing in the 2h-only arsenal or mechanics here imho.

edit: I only have 2.3k att at 115 but my other classes similarly geared out stripe my 2h with finess and nothing i have can touch my 3 shot finale except tonfa cominpg close so im having a crisis here

Let's put it this way,

My 2h Semi Tank is a STRAIGHT BEAST. While I'm not doing the MOST damage all the time. I'm consistently going Toe to Toe with the big boys. On top of that, I DO NOT DIE. I am reliable. I can take a lot of hits and if my tank dies due to some mistake or lame boss skill, I can jump in and take the role in a heartbeat well enough.

I have 3 semi tank characters, Knuck, BG, and 2H. All can deal a surprising amount of damage and take hits like no other.

Well, considering mine was quite like yours even with Berserk+Rampage, I assume it would be even tankier with the Oni equips. Though I'm afraid that the current connection issues may affect refining, so I haven't refined them yet xD

Two handed only gives 5cr, bear hat has 15cr,base crit is 25. there is no +10 base ampr on top of the ampr gained from mp

and necromancy is a forbidden art.

 

Actually, there IS +10 base ampr. It won't make sense otherwise. Imagine at lvl 1 you only have 1 ampr and that is from the 100mp you have naturally.

And on his defense he's a new member so let's not-for the lack of knowing a better word-bully him . Although I do agree it's kinda annoying when someone brings up really old post. For me, I'll let this one slide. You learn from your mistakes.
