Can't be used with the current equipment

I am using a 1h shield character and when trying to set combos, no matter what I put in the 3rd combo onwards, it automatically says that it cannot be used with current equipment, even if it's a skill type I used in the first two combos with no problem.

Oh so combo level not just affects how many skills you can put in a combo but also how many combos in total you can use?

 

you can always use 5 combos (more if you buy them with orbs).
combo level limits how much skills/tags you can put into a single combo.

the issue here is that you didn't set a combo. it's just 1 skill, so you cannot set the combo to "active".

 

maybe...or maybe you have somethin on or off that your gears that disables specific skills in general
