Capped 255 Stats for Blacksmiths

Just a question to all BS out there~

Is there a benefit on maxing the main stats to 255? Or is it just the same as 250? (+25 pot)

I maxed out my BS's but I am not sure if there a (hidden?) benefit on maxing it so I am currently leaving them at '50.

If there are no other benefits, I'd rather invest the 5pts on the personal stat.


Another thing I was wondering about was the secondary weapon pots.

Say if you are full 250 INT and you start adding stats to AGI (12pts) Would you get additional pots for magic device? (A chance to make secondary weapons full pots?)

I haven't tried these ones out before and I don't have any reset books to waste so if anyone has tried these before, 'hope you can share your wisdom it will be greatly appreciated by the community.

my friend accindentally put his vit BS into 255, and gives 51 pot k.coat nonslot so, it doesnt give any benefit with 55's i think

 

Thanks for the info. Guess I'll take your word for it and move on; I'll add the remaining pts to the secondary stat.

 

doesn't it take 20 stat points for 1 secondary pot? wouldn't putting those 20 to tech be better for a higher success rate?

 

Yes, I'd rather invest in tech rather than secondary pots (which doesn't really make $$$$)

ya rather put excess stats on tech,
but for DEX bs i think its okay put on STR since its already have boost difficult from DEX, 250 dex and lv 70 prof at moment already give 102 difficult without dex equip

Tec increase success rate?? really? i thought it's not effecting any success rate... What I know Tec only increase difficulty
And LUK increase Success rate..

Luck doesn't increase success rate, tech DOES, it does increase difficulty LEVEL, to craft an item, just like dex str vit and agi. Well if more pot could come people who can benefit would be 1h since str and dex both give pot.

 

i guess 52 is the limit of armor pot since maxt vit is 255. or theres a skill to increase potential of crafted equipment.

 

Yes, required pot for C999 is pot49-50

TECH increases success rate and LUCK increases chance of slot.

Sometimes [Careful Creation] could add up to +2 pot if extremely lucky.
