"Change Appearance" materials

I've just created a character in Toram, but I now realized that I want a slightly darker color. Thus I checked the "Change Appearance" tab, and came across this little window saying that I need 10k Spina, 1 Sunstone and 1 Diamond. Does anyone here happen to know how to get the Sunstone and Diamond? I would create a new character, but I cannot delete this one and I would really like to keep my current name. These stones/gems aren't bought with real money, right...? :s

 

You can make the gemstones at the synthesist but they require a lot of shards to make.

The only way that I know of that you can get shards is from the emblems you get for adding friends in game.
