Classes I'll probably never use...

First off- this is all about preference. Not about which is best etc, because in all honesty that can change just like that.

I doubt I will ever use a knight/paladin 1h or 2h build. To me it seems too clunky and I like seeing all the flashing lights you get from mages and the whole intellect thing that comes with stories like Merlin, etc. EVEN THOUGH the appearance of the hair for my mage is inspired by Sephiroth (and ehe uses a sword) he is also a very very powerful magic user. I mean hey, he casts Meteor to destroy a hole in the side of the planet. That's pretty damn powerful and therefore is more memorable to me as a magic user.

Secondly anything to do with a bow or bowgun makes me wanna snore. All the pretty arrows in the air and the powerful snipe, yup sound pretty cool. But I was never truely a fan of Irvine/Vincent or Robin Hood (Especially not the Russell Crowe version- Australia can claim him, even though he actually is a kiwi.)

Each to their own though.

Knuckles, I wasn't sure on originally, but I did enjoy it for a while when it used to be the only class with an instant 1mp aoe move. (Great for killing Kijimu for Flower Nectar.) This class was also the main breaker for so long.

But I have a Mage, to me it's powerful. It's rather tanky for a Mage, powerful, looks great and I fully enjoy all the usage of all the farming.

I do however have a level 80 blank char which was a support class and when Asobimo had a stuff around with support skills level 3 and wiped my Bishop in the making. I left it blank and kept on leveling it until a new brand of class or something amazing comes my way.

I didn't include bs or synth as I have these and it's obvious why. And didn't include DW as it's a sword like "class."

Yeah I have a full luck mule too. But also I don't mind the flinch as I'm setup to atl enemy furthest away.

 

Boosting your cspd should help reduce flinching.

I've got a mage brawler that just isn't working out for me. Actually, it used to be a full LUCK character, which also didn't work out for me.
Was thinking of making it some sort of sword user, but I think I'll watch this thread some more to see what 'not' to make it! 8^)
