    the game does not run on a quantum computer. the system is hardcoded and nothing you could do will change that.

    believing can trick your memory to alter the impression of success and failure, but the in-game result will be the same.
    the problem is that you cannot choose what to believe. once you know something, you are unable to revert to ignorance and trick yourself some positive memories.
    imitating other peoples' illusions will have no effect on your experience if you didn't have the same or similar illusion yourself.
