Communal Star Gems (and leveling up Blacksmiths)

Many people, even entire guilds, reach the level cap of Lv145, and find themselves reaching a hard limit of Skill Points.
Star Gems can theoretically provide 10 Skill Points each, but nobody wants to buy each and every Star Gem Lv10.

Some Star Gems, such as

MP Charge
First Aid
Play Dead
Drop Rate UP

Are useful in every situation. And if you ever get a hold of these star gems Lv10, you'll probably never let them go.

Some star gems, such as
> Taming
> EXP Up
> Protection
Can be very situational. I.e., you don't need Taming 24/7 (duh), EXP Up only helps for so long, and Protection is only really good when tanking Odelons or Don Yetis.

The idea behind Communal Star Gems, then, is that everyone in an OP guild chips in only a little bit of spina, to buy such Star Gems for the guild as a whole... So, for example, if the above Star Gems Lv10 cost a total of 9m spina, then all 90 guild members would each chip in 100k to buy these three Star Gems Lv10 for the guild.

From there, then, once the Star Gems are bought, the system of borrowing would be done through Consignment Board. You would take the Lv10 gem off of Consignment Board, use it until you're done with it, and then put it back on Consignment Board under the section "Guild Only," so that only your guildmates could borrow it again.

There are actually 4 Lv1 Taming Skills
> Taming (allows you to capture pets)
> Skillful Capture (Raises the Potential of pets you capture)
> Capture Technique (Raises the max level of the pets you capture)
> Pet Heal

Personally, idk why you wouldn't just buy a pet off of cb, but who knows? Maybe you're looking for a particular pet, or maybe you want to tame Lv100 Santa Potums to sell, and you suddenly need Taming on your main character... But only temporarily... These Star Gems could provide that.

Spoiler: Protection

Protection gives you:
+30% Physical Resistance
-15% Magic Resistance

Aegis, contrarily, gives you:
-15% Physical Resistance
+30% Magic Resistance

When tanking most bosses, it's better to have both... On bosses that rely heavily on magic, it's better to only use Aegis... But on bosses that rely almost entirely on physical attacks, such as Odelon and Don Yeti, that 30% damage resistance against physical attacks can make your life a whole lot easily, while you're in those situations.

Spoiler: EXP Up

Pretty self-explanatory. If one, two, or even three guildmates are being carried through the levels, this 10% boost in EXP can make things go significantly faster, without having to drop 10sp on the skill.

Spoiler: “Stunner Gems”

The main stunner gems are:
Magic Javelin >Flinch<
Smash >Flinch<
Bash >Stun<
Sonic Wave >Tumble<

Using these star gems, knuckles, and/or a staff, you can turn any blacksmith character into a stunner without spending sp, and can be not entirely useless while being carried to Lv140 :3

As of right now, Smash is the cheapest of these skills, costing 666k/level on cb. All others are 1m+.

This would require a lot of trust. But, if successful, you could end up with as much as 30sp-worth of skill at your bacon* call, for a one-time payment of 100k.

Like the idea. I'd also love to have some cheaper star gems as well as other orb shop materials coz they are so useful.

 

Good idea actually. But, borrow in guild, its so hard to do. Well especially thief wondering around game right nowadays

Nice idea but as u said its for OP guilds. Doubt most guilds have 90 members or at least have them each donate 100k~ i wanna do dis tho *^*
