Crit rate bug- tested.

People moaned about the exp bug so hard, there should be no reason why they would keep quiet over this one

@Kariin @Precaria @NUT2Fast well it seems some one took the time to look into the crit issue, how will the TFL handle this?

I am very curious on how this will play out.

 

1. Tkick doesnt crit all the time
2. Snipe(one of the highest dps dealer in the game, if not?) Is not supposed to crit 100% the time.

 

yea ikr even though I wear old crit rate equips, I don't crit all the time, I've even had non crits on raffies when I was slaughtering them for passing time(I use blaster brawler)

 

What if the bug is just that it doesn't take the negative crit rate stats on certain items like the Gear bow or bows you crafted into concideration? That would in no way matter to my bow character since I don't use gear bow or have negative crit stats on my bow. Either way no point talking about something so much that no one has a real answer for, it could be anything. Maybe bowguns aren't criting as much as they should. Maybe they are talking about one specific item or all bows. Regardless up until a while ago I didn't crit all the time with bow because of the IOS issue didn't really bother me that much at the time, I also made it to the final round in the last TFL that way. I could bitch about that being unfair too.

 

Thanks for sending your suggestions to the staff. I've emailed Asobimo requesting the specifications of the bug, how is critical rate being calculated, with what weapons and when will the bug be fixed. There's a thread dedicated to comment suggestions and ideas for the TFL, anything else related to it should go in there.

 

I've mailed them on multiple accounts over this, each with a different question but questioning the same thing, they normally respond that they cannot leak update info, so time will tell I guess.

"On a bow" so ain't that the bow fault?

 

would you use a staff on a snipe character to get the same effectiveness as a bow? the nerf would be that the item is a staff and not a bow.

Lets make the assumption that all the non valid weapons like staff,knuckles all have the same effect of 100% crit on snipe.

does a crit snipe on a staff the same as a bow? my assumption is no. if it is no the nerf exists in the item it self but since it is a bow the benifit of 100% crit will make it op

 

I didn't really make this for tfl tho XD. I don't take part in it.
Also btw if anyone wana know I did test with a lvl 10 char an SNIPE with no crit up skill. Same result.

 

knuckle as main has 100% triple kicks crit rate, does it make it OP? obviously not, as we know knuckle dmg modifier from AGI is low.
same issues happened with bow vs bowgun. now why u stated crit bow snipe's OP is beyond me, while crit bowgun snipe's is currently at 180-190k yet bow's snipe stuck at 100-105k currently.
bow will always be overshadowed by bowgun in term of DPS, gunner's just have to tweak their crit a little. with next cap coming, gunner's can go straight CRT n they no longer have to sweat over crit rate issues.

 

Sorry Kariin u may lock this thread if u need to, I didn't make it to flame bows or anything- I'm a bow man myself, so is @DansAway. Just get upset people always hating on gear bow, wanted to prove something about it.

the glitch works on the skill snipe only.
snipe on knuckles vs snipe on bow which will be op?
