Curiousity over Katana

Does katana works with any other combat skills ? Like sword, bow, magic, dual swords, lance skills? Any skills buff the katana ? And can they be use with Katana ? Thanks

 

- katana can use dagger as sub and it can also be use as a sub wep for bow if you equip them you can use dagger skills and shot skills respectively. although it's best for katanas if u do not use any sub weps because of the two-handed passive that basically buffs your atk, crit rate, and cdmg
- quick draw form shot skills is also useful for recovering mp.
- For magic skills, any weapon type can use them. But the thing is that katana is not matk based. so really the only useful magic skill for katana is impact.
- people use flashblast for katana becaus eit enhances unsheathe attack. most katana skills are unsheathe so yeah god speed works the same way too but its getting nerfed so be careful.
- for lance skills, quick aura can be useful as combo fillers.

you can also use martial skills if you need/want breaking abilities.
don't expect high damage though
but it's pretty badass to sheathe the sword and punch your opponent in the face

 

Katana, Magadachi skill can't be included in Combo? Bcs I don't see it when I was setting up combo.

 

Unfortunately yes.. You cant use magadachi in combo.

Any mana lost is easily recoverable if you max sakuchi. It also force you to prorate attack so win-win! But you still need at least 1k mana pool to work with, so you have to rely on other means of getting them. Gears, xtals, skills take your pick.
