Decoy Bug? Or Decoy Technique?

    Hey i got a very noob question so please help me senpaiiii >_<
    I use decoy shot for my katana so for the consequence the clone can only hit from close range. But i saw someone a fellow katana in my party, and recognize that his clone is keep on attacking even if the boss is away.
    Is this a bug on my screen? Or is it possible to make ur own clone do that stuff?
    Please enlighten meeee >///<v.

    Its a graphic bug.
    On your screen it seems attacking, but on his screen it stops attacking.

    edit :
    Asobi keeps it simple to minimize the data sharing between four party members.
