Deleted old threads..?

I was wondering if "the tome of dps" and the "chickeny guide to defense" could be restored? I believe the forum auto deleted it because they are very old posts.. I hope they could be restored as they were great info dumps on how the game worked. @kariin

I think it did not auto delete. You can even opeb up threads that have been created 4years ago, hence the first mistake of a newb smart forumer is to be smart and use the local search engine to find topics. It is verymuch like poking in a graveyard the newb have no idea if he is poking at a dead thread or the undertaker strolling around.

 

I have the threads bookmarked.. could they have been moved resulting in a new url?

Best guess is the thread creator itself deleted that or the forum accout itself is deleted and them threads goes along with the deleted account.

 

:/ too bad... those threads were a great wealth of information.

 

There was also the Boss/miniboss annoyance level detailing the DEF of each boss and minboss as well as the DEF when they're enraged from flinch, tumble, or stun made by mayam or the xiii guy, imo those charts were as useful as the skill tree list since it also tells players which interrupt a boss is sensitive to at which time, now they're also deleted

 

yes,all the guide thread that has "mayam" and "thexiiiguy" in it are deleted by them when they left i think.


that's 4 years worth of knowledge pass down by older-legendary retired players gone in 1 day tbh,i don't know if it was because mayam and thexiiiguy are angry or got triggered due to recent state or it's just because they like to go out with a bang.

now newbies cant see the skill list and make decent builds (dont follow youtubers cancer builds 100% if you're a newbie reading this pls)

 

That is why i commented before about them being pissed to the core that they threw everything including the kitchen sink and the talking toilet.

 

well...most of the people building up those threads are long gone/retired from the game itself,both mayam and thexiiiguy basically try stay alive and been doing updates for randoms even when they aren't enjoying toram like they used to?

some of those randoms are ungrateful bastards so i can understand what they got triggered about and left,the job has no payment other than a "thanks" probably,if it had dumb-witted criticism to go with that then like hell i would quit.


but honestly they don't need to delete those threads,someone who really appreciate them could have pick up what they left off.


i don't understand their character but i've seen these cases alot in other communities,some are great until they develop a fetish to watch the world burn.

 

I wish they didn't delete them.. it really was a great resource. One that I frequented everytime I made a new char or thought about modifying what I had made. I hope the forum had logged the info somehow so it can be retrieved and maybe pinned/locked for the future generations to see.

I tried using archive .org but since this forum can't be viewed properly without an account they had no "backup" of it.

I vaguely remember mayam saying what that amino post said was wrong.. maybe some others would recognize the blogpost.

it was easier to check here but whatever they deleted and we can't do anything, so i'll just check another pages or try i guess xd

 

Compare to the post here, some still is matching, I always compare dopr and guide here and make my own judgement, Since both also work hard on data mining, wrong or right is depend on us go to justify, because they earn nothing from it.

If you really want back the post, just search in google and you will find the exactly same post at other forum , because lot of people already stole the post and share it on their own forum, but of course they still mention the name of data miner. But I still hope you respect the author, if they decide to let their post dead, don’t revive it.......
