Dex vs agi vs str

Ok so i found this when i reset my char to dw and found that str>agi char graze alot like alot and thats when i thought of time we used to put dex instead. Anyone can give me advice on what should i do to make them critical not grazez. Ty

 

Try mind eye tag

 

You need critical rate stat from equips, foodbuffs, etc.
Although there are bosses that have crit resist and/or high flee in higher difficulties which can't be helped.

 

Sadly grazing can’t really be helped with some bosses because the accuracy stat is so underwhelming right now... Mind’s eye will sadly not prevent a graze, but guarantee at least a graze. I find it most useful for skills with permanent non-critical.

Aside from increasing your accuracy stat, astute dance from dancer skills reduces the enemy’s flee stat, which in result will reduce your graze rate. I’m not sure exactly how effective it is though.

 

Mind eye gives accuracy (read the its description?). I'm not sure how much it's, but using it on 9th position Storm Reaper is enough to avoid graze at Iconos Ulti. Without it, it's always graze.

 

It just guaranties the skill wont miss unless evasion kicks in.

 

I guess it's super hard for you to figure out something so simple (so it's highlighted with some useless red circles and lines too), so I'll explain:
Hit Chance on Mind's Eye description = Hit = Accuracy = Stat used to verify if a critical hit is graze or not

Yup i dont have problem with crit i always yellow atk but graze and no one in their right mind would use 10 long combo for dw . My question is why people stop using dex

 

Having more motion speed from Agi and Critical Damage from Str is better than Dex that gives Hit stats as no matter how high your Dex even if it's 315, you will still experience graze at nightmare and ulti mode and some mini bosses like for instance Demonic Eye.

Dual Sword that uses some Dex are players who will use blade skills like buster or meteor as Dex increases the damage of the said skills

 

Fair enough, but you may use Mind's Eye at whatever be yours combo size and check if it prevents graze. Mind's eye also doesn't beat smite tag past 4th position if you compare average damage. I'm just saying how you could prevent graze, which was your question. My last answer isn't addressed to you, but to those who keep claiming things without any test or evidence.

Answering why agi over dex: If you check DW basic mechanics you'll find AGI damage gain is greater than DEX. Since you're going to graze anyway on nm/ulti bosses and newer minibosses, it's better choosing AGI, that gives aspd and more damage, over DEX, which just gives small accuracy value.

Just as side note, that char I've used on video is an Enchanter STR>DEX and all hits, except the one with Mind's Eye, were graze.

But it's fine being skeptic about this and testing it yourself.

 

Hey guess it was my fault for not trying out a combo that overly long. Times like this makes me wonder why they don't give any numbers on things like that.
