Dex vs crit katana

Just hit level 40!
Should I continue maxing dex (mines 100) or start putting points in crit as well?

i recomend u max one stat and then when u get good equipment compare if u need much crit or not thats applied to all classes

 

It would be best to max Dex first , then go for 30-55 crt (mine's 55) then continue str or if u need hp , around 10-20 vit should help

 

its good to max dex first. you wont be using crt at the end anyway so either a few vit then str or all remaining stat on str.

 

In my experience, CRIT stat would be useless as you can invest for it in gears.

Putting VIT is optional if you want to last longer during boss fights at higher levels. preferably 30-50 VIT at most.

The Ideal Stat is DEX then putting the rest in STR. This would give better accuracy and damage output and average stability.

It depends on you if you want your STR higher than DEX... STR gives stable damage and additional crit damage but is prone to miss and graze.

 

Been using maths... Katanas usually have 70% Stability. Add 10% from Two Handed... and apparently 1 STR gives 0.075% Stability and DEX gives 0.025%... 200 of each is 20% Total. 100% Stability for Katanas without investing in other stuff to enhance it... A slightly higher Graze chance than full DEX but much more Critical DMG, which would multiply your DMG much higher...

Verdict: Both important, it's your preference that decides which is better...
