Dragon Tooth vs. Strike Stab

Yes it does crit a lot. A proper combo is very much needed.

I don't have problem with the damage dragon tooth can make. My problem is the mp it is using. 500mp per skill is a lot.

 

That is the damage i made with dragon tooth on iconos hard. Mp sucks though woth this skill. Ill stick with strike stab for now because my strike stab makes the same damage as above but with less mp usage.

 

The quick aura is jus filler...since need some delay for the dive impact to second hit

 

Spike Dart > WarCry(save) > ThrowingDagger(cons if not lvl10) > PoisonDagger(cons) > impact(cons) > Dragon Tooth(smite) > Holy Fist(cons)

How was the damage with dragon tooth? What boss did you try it on?

 

I say its better than strike since it doesnt need ailment or punish ray to do high damage. Also your party will love you in gem runs for making them faster.
Tho mp management on halberd has always been a problem yes.

So fast, man
Like i just need to do auto attack whike tapping and then three combo later it died.
With sstab i take longer haha.

 

can someone compare the effectiveness between non-dragon bosses/mobs and dragon bosses/mobs
Zahhak is kind of a dragon right? with the dragon drops and everything.

maybe theyve implemented that final fantasy mechanic where dragoon abilities are effective against dragons

 

DT is better, 5 mp? Save warcry for fast animation, sneak attack for aggro control, smoke dust if you like it. Then impact and dt.
My combo currently :
Reflex-sneak(save) - meikyo(con, filler) - impact(con) - DT(smite) - fstab(swift, anyclosing 1 mp)
If i have GSW(not enough sp) ill put it b4 meikyo, or use it as opener and put reflex b4 or after meikyo.
This will make you easy to got 1 shot though...

Also... If you like challenge and danger, try to save berserk and put GSW in combo, total YOLO.

 

I think you don't need meikyo because dt already kas high critical rate. Besides you'll lower the critical damage. Making the attack of dt lower.

I doubt aso think that far but anyway i did compare it but no video sorry.
Its depend on gear my dt is low when i still use cspd gear for punish ray but since dt dont need cspd i change gear to add more atk n cdmg and it was faster kill.
The damage in number might look the same somtimes (sstab 90k*3 compared to dt 270k)but dt makes me kill zahakk faster/easier maybe bc ignore deff?
