What I experience is dt has a very high crit already. Meaning it is seldom grazing when it hit. I didn't have problem with it's damage. I often have high damage with it. Example zahhack or iconos. When I say it is self prorating what i mean is you can use the skill right a way without using 5 to 7 normal attacks and still have high damage. All of this is just my observation. I use elemental halb on different bosses so maybe that is the difference.

First of all iconos has 0% proration rate meaning auto attacking does not increase your physical skill dmg at all thats what you are experiencing there not because it doesnt need auto attack, its just the boss doesnt get any change from it. Continuously spamming d.tooth wont drop your damage there either.

As for zahhak it got like no dodge rate at all meaning you will never graze there. I myself never grazed on nm mode even if I only had like 200 hit rate.

Is there a way to calculate the soft cap needed for Hit stat to (almost) never graze?
