dragon tooth with s.stab

guys it is feasible to put strike stab with dragon tooth im same combo?
like spkie dart-punish ray-strike stab (smite)-war cry(save)-impact(cons)-dragon tooth(smite)-anything (cons)
i know longo combo but mby it works?

 

the combo will cost by my calculations 5mp not that much for 2 op skills

 

moeba shot> smoke dust(save)> punish ray(swift)> strike stab(smite)> impact(consecutive)> dragon tooth(smite)> paralysis shot(consecutive)

 

so i use dagger aint no gud combo for dagger or i should change to arrow , which arrow u use?

 

Arrow sub is better in my opinion. The ailment infliction rates for moeba and smoke dust aren't 100%, but since you get 2 of them there's a good chance that at least 1 ailment would hit. Even if one of them doesn't inflict an ailment, it's not a huge problem simce the main focus is dragon tooth.

 

That would require him to switch to snipe hb which would also change his entire build as of now i still say wait to get shot lv 4 before making a combo like that.
if you want look into dagger skills and combo off of them.

Spike Dart - Sneak Attack (save) - Quick Aura (swift) - War Cry (cons) - Impact (cons) - Dragon Tooth (smite) - Meikyo Shisui (cons) - Strike Stab (smite) - Poison Dagger (cons)
Depending on your build you can enterchange Meikyo for Reflex but this is the one im going to use once i finish the leveling process.
(I recommend using the skill points to get Sneak Attack Lv. 1 or the Star Gem for it.)
It is quite long but it is 2mp at most.

He wouldn't need to completely change his build for that, it's like 16 skill points.

 

Not so feasible imo. Sstab need a lotta cr for sure crit(still grazed though). And sstab is melee skill. And punish ray need to be casted. If you want to use pray <1.3 sec, u need to use cast speed item.

DT has higher dmg, ignore def, no ailment needed, 100%crit(still... Grazed is a problem), dont forget 12m cast range.

Why use them together? Their equip for optimizing their dmg (dt and sstab) are different(cdmg and fullcrit). And you can spend those sp to another skill which might be better for you.
For build... DT only requirement are impact and 3mp skill for save(dragon tail can be for save). Spend those lot of sp to another skill you like.

Yes but he would potentially have to farm out all the arrows for element aswell but its up to him.

The (save) passive, when added to a skill in a combo, would make that skill worth no mp at all and put the mp it would have used in a reserve for the rest of the combo. Take my HB Snipe combo for example, Moeba Shot - Smoke Dust (save) - Reflex (swift) - War Cry (cons) - Impact (cons) - Snipe (smite) - Quick Aura (swift) - Strike Stab (smite) - Flash Stab (cons)
Ok so the Smoke Dust (save) for example, smoke dust takes 5 mp to cast but with save it takes non but through out the comb you have to use a minimun of 5 mp worth of skills. for my combo I have Reflex (swift) -1mp out of 5mp reserve (4mp left)-War Cry (cons) (Takes no mp due to cons in 3rd position after initial cast, same as Impact (cons) no mp taken) with impact, Snipe is now half the mp cost so Snipe (smite) takes 2 mp out of reserve (2mp left). Quick Aura takes hp so no mp there. Strike Stab (smite) takes the last of the mp as it is a 2mp skill (0mp reserves left) so i end the combo off with a 1mp skill under cons. The entire combo is 1 mp overall thanks to (save).

The elements, stability, and ATK stats on arrows don't affect weapons other than bows and bowguns, he would only need one arrow.

 

With my experience the element goes through from the arrow but as i said its completely up to the user

 

The elements from arrows will only affect skills like moeba shot, paralysis shot, etc. if you don't have a bow/bowgun equipped, and I'm 100% sure that they wouldn't be using any of those four skills for dps.

 

Im really2 curious , im try
110% drag tooth vs 150% drag tooth at deniala and tapir deal really close same damage. It means no efect to smite 150% ??
