Dual Wield Max Stats

Im quite confused, What's better max str or max agi or max dex? And why? Which of the 3 stats do better?
Bonus question: everyone know already that dual is a squishy class (low hp/def/mdef), so to cover it up is evasion a good choice? What's the limit cap of evasion.

 

currently im using max agi for motion speed it also increases sub-hand atk. Str is for having ~201% cdmg and extra 6% stability. Dex is for a higher base atk and HIT which negate grazing, good if u want to use more blade skills imo.
Evasion has a cap at 75% i think, interesting to try eva+flash blast. My approach to dealing with your concern is max HP Boost (1000+20%hp) from Survival tree and slap some vit ( I use 50 points) after maxing first stat and use short combos to manually dodge some deadly aoes, sure I lose some potential burst dps but I wont get one shot. You can also get Iconos/Ornlarf on your armor. I only use one slot gear so for me Ifrid is better for more MP + ampr.

 

Hmm.. if i try agi i think most of my atks will miss, so how to cover it up? :3

 

Critical rate from gear. Dex only helps with graze and normal hit rate but crit rate is better.

 

Gear crit rate + Astute + ~30 crt + 70-90 dex + some extra accuracy from additional might be enough. You could also make short dummy test builds before investing? not sure which is stat is ultimately the best , if there even is a best?

 

Dual swords isnt a squishy class, with lvl4 skills it's quite survivable because it's got high flee(basically dodge rate) with agi, high evasion with reflex, cross parry to block dmg and phantom to dodge attacks completely(but you have to time it well), buster blade to heal hp, and shadowstep to dodge aoes(most of the time). Def and mdef are easy to get to 250(20%magical and physical resistance) and past that it doesnt matter. Hp just add 40 vit and use an ornlarf or iconos, if you want more add hp boost lv10.

Just look at Lynxia's raptor build. He soloed boss roga ultimate with no revitas.
