Dual wield question.

I saw recently some videos regarding dual wield's sub weapon's element is working on skills/attack but not on phantom slash. My question is, lets say i have a tomahawk,a neutral player crafted weapon, fire elemental weapon and going to kill ms/warmonger. Should I use neutral on main + fire elem on sub, or fire elem on main + tomahawk on sub? Thanks

 

It really depends on what skills you use.
If you rely on Dual Wield skills (bar Phantom) to deal damage, I suggest using the fire ele 1H on Sword, so that you can benefit from the main hand's stats.
If not (you use Tempest or Phantom), put it on the main hand instead.

 

twin slash and spin slash will work if u have an elem sub also phantom has no elem idk y e.e

 

So fire elem on main, tomahawk on sub?

 

Well, devs are rebalancing DualSword's sub-weapon related things, so... This might have to be re-tested once again... -_-

 

my think u r choose %atk cr cd cd main wep, sub weps element you choose depends on the mob you attack. only fire or only wind element not strong all bosses or minibosses. or u can use +c or more refina tomahawk sub wep. bcuz high attack n +6 crt

 

Phantom slash will not benefit from the sub element.
