every tank with different weapon...

    can someone tell me what is the advantage and disadvantage of...
    - one handed sword tank
    - bowgun tank
    - knuckle tank
    I want to make a tank char, but I'm very confused which one should i pick.

    This what crosses my mind about this.
    This my opinion, ideas may varies for other person

    1h (Versatility): Has a lot of buff skills+an access to knight skill (which require 1hs). Also have a skill that can boost motion speed (trigger slash). Jack of all trade (Doesn't have as high aggro like Bg, nor lot of interrupts like Knuck)
    Bowgun (Aggro): The highest aggro generator (700 mp skill), and have range advantage on bosses that really hates close range char. Only have 1 interrupts (stun) which mean its not good on boss that needs lot of interrupts
    Knuck (Breaking): Extremely good for farming boss since it has all interrupt skills (flinch,stun,tumble) which allows you to get better loots. Not ideal for mass killing minis (or multiple boss) due to slow animation

    OHS Tank: Has a great option for buffing the party for gaining aggro in War Cry. The two attacking t4 skills they have are good for stalling, Meteor Breaker having invincibility frames and Buster healing you HP (although Meteor is better). You'll be mainly using Trigger as an ender since its great for AMPR since you'll need lots of MP to continueously use P.Def. And, they have access to Rage Sword which halves MP Cost like Impact if you are tanking, and generates a good amount of aggro at lv10, which is a good plus to save on SP. This one is the general tank we all know.

    Bowgun Tank: You do not have the decoy disadvantage all the other shield tanks have, your Decoy can always get you MP to use which is very nice to have. Your attacks are long range meaning you can keep getting aggro while high fractional spikes surround the enemy which 1h and knuckles cant do very well in. Other than that there really isn't anything else the Shot skill tree can offer you in terms of good skills. Really the biggest and the best benefit is the Decoy. You can always pick up Way Cry from OHS and some other stuff for better aggro-ing if you want. This one is the MP battery tank.

    Knuckle tank: The thing no one had at Gespenst Hell, this tank is the master at interruption. With lv10s in all the three interuptions in can do, you can easily stop a boss from doing something you dont like and allow everyone else to benefit from it. This tank is extremely useful at that, but with a downside of not having the best way to get MP. This one is just a pure battle controller tank.

    Katana tanks, Bow tanks and staff tanks exist tooo

    1h: has the highest aggro generation without affecting proration with warcry-berserk-rampage and can be used at any range… in exchange of having less toughness... They also have access to rage blade that can half mp cost of the next skill with additional aggro generation, binding strike for aoe stop and aggro, the also got 100% flinch and stun has good ampr and motion speed for the next skill with trigger, and meteor for invisibility and buster for some heals incase p.def is not convenient.. You get so many options with sword&shield since it can do lots of things... Everything sounds too good, problem is that your either stuck with mid length combos or high mp cost wich could both be highly fatal if your not familiar with the boss... and its melee so its severely limited with melee hatin bosses..

    Bg: decoy! no other tank can use decoy like this baby it has range it can still atack in spikes, decoy+p.def is godsend... But its meh in any other aspects compared to other tanks since it only has stun for cc and limited aggro choices

    Knux: cc is its greatest boon and also its greatest bane, it works wonders for bosses that you can cc to death but is pretty standard in any other aspect like mp management and aggro generation... And its melee same problem as 1hs

    1h Tank=
    + Good combo skills (dancer skills -invincible and healer one- + more buff skills)
    + Great aggro
    - No %100 tumble skill (impact %65)
    Knuck Tank=
    + Fully breaker
    +- aggro is not as good as 1h but still good
    +- Has good combo options but 1h better in my opinion
    Bowgun Tank=
    + Great solo boss aggro
    + Ranged + perfect use with decoy
    - Has a lot of physical skills, can effect proration and you cant use dancer skills
    - No good flinch or tumble skills

    Katana Tank: A build that is very good at both getting away from aoes that may be a problem with very good repositionals and having access to Magadachi and Zentei. While this type of tank is extremely uncommon it can get the job done. Magadachi will lower a lot of hits and heal your MP back and Zentei will act like P.Def with Armour Break alongside it for team support. Katana has been a very balanced class so you can basically make almost any niche with it.

    Bow Tank: Add a katana as your sub weapon, put everything I said about Katana tank here, and add the fact your Decoy is much better than even Bowgun and you can generate much more aggro than katana. Fun Fact: CF charges even if you parry an attack with Zentei.
