Fake feedback

So in sofya, i have noticed many people calling out refiners as scammers. Unfortunately, some people believe these individuals with no proof, for example, someone called out (Megumi). Megumi is a legit refiner, yet people try to ruin her reputation. And iv noticed people calling others scammers for no reason, an example as seeing someone in the city, for example called ^bob^. And so bob is at the board buying some stuff, and someone spams shout with "^bob^ a scammer. Beware" and ruin his reputation.

As a conclusion, its clear you should not listen to random people calling out people as scammers. You should check here first in order for a list. A post by @kariin (http://toramonline.com/index.php?threads/your-ultimate-scammer-info-thread.16935/) clearly locates these scammers.

That's normal, and will probably continue until they make a new interface that allows the safe refining of other players equips.

At the moment, there are so many scammers and legit players mixed up in the game that I've just made my own refiner to avoid the ambiguity.

It's so bad, that even people who post here on the forums for years eventually get busted for scamming, after doing a few legitimate services.

Unfortunately, people go out of their way to scam others, and they don't care about what damage it does to other players reputations or in game experiences.

The time it takes to make your own refiner, that is reliable to +B. Will save you so much time and heart break with all the scamming or over priced services.

Just like how the orb system is used for dyes now. Less chance for dye scams.

 

I suppose the best market would be these forums themselves. I'd trust any of my stuff with practically anyone here. ^^

Scammers and fake reviewers are such downers. I don't understand how people live like that.

 

You really shouldnt let your guard down even at forums... many people have been scammed here as well.

 

It’s *usually* easy to tell though

Accounts that aren’t even a week old shouldn’t usually be trusted, for example. Like that one guy “selling” the glory gem recently

It’s generally better to look for services here that have a lot of reviews and proof of service. A new refiner may or may not be trustworthy, while someone who has had, say, 50 customers and has screenshots of all of them is much less likely to scam you

Although even well known forum people can turn into scammers, it’s not nearly as common as new accounts that nobody even knows :V

 

A scammer called me a scammer when i was lvl 80ish back in the days of b.but reign.. welp fortunate to me i know alot of ppl from my country and proved myself as trust worthy when someone said that im a scammer in the old scammer thread.. if they accused u a scammer i prefer selling here in forums than in sofya cuz its much safer here xD

 

And for some reason people still get scammed like that one day the buyer forgot to check that the account that pmed them had 0 messages :v
Also its not probable to happen again but in the past elite members have scammed people here as well.

Sometimes I'm glad people can't type my Ign(in Japanese) but feel sorry for peoples names and reputation that get ruined, but yeah more people should use for it seems somewhat safer knowing igns from players that a lot of other people recognize rather then a complete un known stranger *note I would never scam anyone >,,> thats plan mean* and RIP Bob I still trust you(ﾉ*ﾟｰﾟ)ﾉ

 

I follow a few simple steps to ever face this.
1. I have both a luck and a tech refiner, so I'll never need help
2. I don't sell refine/statting services. I buy, refine and sell the items. much safer.
