Full crit mage..?

Exciting times are upon us! Altho finale was nerfed for most those who have 180 capped can enjoy crit magics! Today I come to you with specialty stat questions.
Would M7I7Ele14Crate18 be possible on a 66 pot weapon? Has anyone tried making M7I7Crat18 arm? What was the minumum potential is it even possible? Addgears what +crit matk hats will you use?

I wore gear that gave 100 crit rate. It seems for magic we would need more than 100 crit rate to actually deal crit magic damage. Has anyone experienced this?

You'd probably need 400 crit for 100% magic crit. ...

 

tried evrything full crit gear, venena staff, toyhammer+md, i even burn myself wth kairiki still 50/50 chnce on crit magic
edit = more like 10 out of 100 chances actually -_-

I saw arewzo posted on his community tab that Magic Crit is flat 25% as of now there's no other way to increase its crit chance

 

Where did he get the 25% crit rate?

 

So...use Ray and give new chance for sword MD's?

 

If Suzuki wants us to use that...he better make it so the both sword AND MD are out during combat!!
Imagine flying around with a MD while branding a sword

i tried on dy out of 6 storm hits 5-4 of them r crits
even without ray, berserk alone r enuf to make magic skills crit. (well with all those crit stat i had tht tyme :v)

seriously wth all crit stats invested sacrificing int/matk etc just to get crit??? hxdjkrlyhgnfwp

 

Now the bigger question is....is it worth sacrificing dmg for that crit? :v

 

totally not worth it. wthout crit stat. chnce crit r like 1% rather than concentrate like 10% as for full crit wthout matk/int its SPAGHETTI. ewe

The magic crit rate from the spellburst is basically, your total crit rate/4

Which means it has 25% MCR if you have 100 crit

With weaken ailment, you will have an addition of 50% MCR
A total of 75% (finale excluded since its non elemental)

 

You can reach 50%crit rate if you have 100% + lvl 10 punish ray?
They are really trying to boost magic blade skill tree.
200str = crit damage
Astute and berserk =12% magic crit

Not worth it on full mage build/DPS mage build. The CRT required is extremely coupled with the fact that you lose out on base dps going for full crit gear for something that's not 100%.

Might be worth it when levels enter the 200s or if the new skill trees buff crit by large amounts. (Assuming yes for assassin and minstrel.)

 

or might be even worth it if the devs choose to re-work the skill a bit by increasing the crit rate like.. 2% chnce per-lvl making it 20% crit chnce on max

edit: they did right their wrong on rampage rework before. so it might possible for all these 5th tier battle skills too.

 

So if I got 255 CR stat and equip proton clarity rose, I will have 240 CR and 60 MCR.
When weaken is trigger will become 110%?

 

It's 0.25 or 25% of total crit right now. Reworking it... I'll vote no for now. Magic can't miss or get evaded, i.e: it has perfect aim all the time. For something like that always criting with like 200% damage can become unbalanced fast (remember hasso happa?)
They need crit buffs in game tho and meikyo isn't really good for mages.
