Full TEC KTN

So I was set on using a KTN character for a bs... I had Modestia and figured it might make the build less... crappy.
But it seems that I'm still being a leech with a full TEC rest DEX katana. Is there some way where I can deal decent damage while being a ktn statter/synth (obvs without 2s everything)? Or should I reset skills and get cf instead?

 

Better switch to cf since elemental arrows helps a lot in damage

 

About how many skill points might I need to invest? Decoy + Moeba Shot + Sneak Attack + CF + Shot Mastery + Quick Draw 10? Or can I ignore some of these? Pretty sure I have 72 SP I can allocate (aside from bs/synth/survival) so far (but still at Lv 157)

OK so with KTN I used Coryn to estimate skills and stats
By 195 I would be able to get full TEC + full DEX I think
As for skills... other than bs/synth skills, there's

TBH I really want to make katana tech bs work...
I might be able to achieve more with cf with this many skill points though

 

TEC Ktn works pretty well with high pp build btw (58 %pp at least) (I tested before 70k Tenryu on normal bosses, 45k on Venena ulti) which is not that bad though. (I go full DEX then rest TEC for my statter) (late bloomer build).

 

Assuming pp means physical pierce, how do you get 58% without subweapons?
For xtals, Handmade cookie gives 10% and Cerb gives 3%... some armor gives 10-15%... max here is 28%
Unless you gave up Unsheathe and Crit entirely?

Do I just abandon Modestia?

Hmmm OK ty I'll keep that in mind.
I'll work on getting the spina (lel I'm broke) and use what I have in the meantime.
It'll be nice to compare cd + unsheathe v pp too

 

Get the ultimate machine is enough though, and about pp, I can say pp is the most powerful stat compared to cd , unsheathe.

Here goes another xtal I thought I could sell. I guess I'm lucky to still have the UM I got from event?
idk I also have a pure dps ktn with unsheathe + cd in progress, which everyone says is best. Perhaps I need two sets of gears... There goes my storage room.
