Garyou Tensei worthless?

So far I've been testing the new mononofu skills.
And I've found one that ticks me off. That's garyou tensei. According to the text it says. It does more dmg depending on certain mononofu skills are used ( stks up to 10 times) and inflicts more dmg if the enemy is inflicted by break ( boooh not helping on mobs nor mini bosses)


I tested everything and I was unable to outdmg my regular zantei. Wich it's bad. My zantei does 40-50k (68-75k with smite) to iconos while my best garyou tensei(smite) reached 10-30k with iconos inflicted by 1 break, using 4 mononofu's skills during combo.


I think I'm using the skill wrong I need advice on how to get most of it. Any idea?

 

The other two are clear on what they do.
Kairiki Tanshin buffs in many ways but sets u on fire. And the effect is lost if u use garyou tensei. Finally we are free from war cry, the ignition tho. Ouch.
Tenryu Ranzei. It's a zantei that does not counter. Gives u a huge atk speed boost(reaching 1000 np) that last for like 7 seconds and if I use zantei correctly it extends to 30 seconds. Its buff time refreshes every time you use zantei correctly, Wich it's pointless with giga potions.

Idk I reseted my dual wield skilltree to get all new 3 skills. So idk

You are too focused on Zantei... Try using Magadachi and see for yourself.
Best sequence I found so far is Ransei & Magadachi to deal damage, and then spam with well timed Zantei / Ransei combo, waiting for a nice moment to make a TEEEENSEEEEEI

Basically if you dont plan to use Tensei, then you may ignore Meikyo / Ranshin and use a dagger to evade a lot and spam skills. But it feels much better to counter damage.

Edit: nice didn't expect that from Magadachi. Does 69k but it can't be used in a combo... Sadface

 

Tenryu Ransei can be executed 4 times in a row by tapping it simultaneously. The MP cost will be 3+1+1+1=6mp
The 5th execution will cost back to 3mp.
And Garyou Tensei's damage depends on how many "mononofu's certain skills" used. And that certain skill is Tenryuu Ransei.
Garyou Tensei Best used without combo but high MP. Because smite doesn't give much difference on it. That's my research.

EDIT:
Tenryu Ransei will only cost 1mp alas its buff still active.

Tested it. Got results but the based dmg is still to low. Do I have to spam Ransei 10 times alone or any skill I combo with counts?

 

Only Ransei so far can be simultaneously executed.
I've tried Grayou using combo, it has lower damage than instant execution.

 

I know that you are excited and all, just calm down since XIII-sama is currently editing the shot/magic/monofu lv4 skills.

Clone from shot skills is godly. Buff Ranshin & clone = bye bye MP cost.

 

The skill is bad then? I read the description Xiii made. and the skill looks really fishy. Ur dmg is good but the set up its too demanding. Even if the stacks is cut in half. It's still too demanding.

 

i see garyou doesnt really need unsheathe dmg anymore. dealing 1m dmg and adding unsheate to that is plain op. i dont even see 1m dmg from other weapon classes
