General que

1) lf our equip has element, it doesnt mean it has any negative effects right?
(Like if l have hell reaper, while l have advantage against light element boss, l wont have any disadvantage against dark or other element bosses right? Anything like -25% dmg or something @-@; )
2) If l use enchant with Hell reaper..does it work

1) well as u know ele gives u 25% extra damage when used properly like
dark ele equip on light ele boss/mini/mobs has extra damage
and when u use the same dark ele equip on other ele such as earth/wind/water/fire it will have no advantage or disadvantage cuz ele doent match
but if u use dark ele equip on dark ele boss/mob/mini then remember ur damage will be reduced by -25%
2) as for the enchant sword itself adjust itself to enemy's weak ele so having a ele on ur weapon doesn't affect enchant sword

there is no elemental disadvantage.
unless you have negative dmg to element stats on your gear.

likewise you won't gain elemental resistance or weakness from element weapons.
this is not pokemon.

 

In RO yes...you get extra damage if you using element armor.

I guess the -25% damage he mean is no additional element bonus gain from your weapon.

 

So normal dmg like for other element, no bonus, but no downsides .
Since l wanted to make hell reaper S n 2s n was wondering if it would have any downsides compared to a normal player statted 2h
