Just asking some of my dumb questions lol.

I've been using my 2h survivability mode build which i used for facing against magic mini boss/boss (who've spammed magic aoe a lot), while my 2h glass cannon mode build also i used for more crit&cdmg. What is your mode you've been using guys?

Sorry for being rudely ask cuz i'm not sure what to do.

both are good in their own way. what matters is which one you like more.

as for me, i used to have survival oriented 2h builds, since all my other characters were already frail. and for the looks, a large hunk with an oversized sword should be able to take a hit and not fall over because the wind blows.

I personally like having more survivability. My stats are Str>Dex=Vit (kinda), I have around 14k HP with Iconos and lv7 food buff.

Used to use Carbuncle Edge, I had 55% magic resist without food buff. Now I don't use it anymore, so I have 30% magic and 10% physical resistance. Got people who cook lv7 phys and magic resist for an extra 32%. Always fun to see others die from a not-so-strong attack xD

I would pick survivability over a glass-cannon *cough* DPS anytime: https://toramonline.com/index.php?threads/a-message-to-2h-users.39477/
The survivability 2H will most likely do more damage in the long run than the glassy DPS who's racking up their death toll. You can easily reach 3k attack with a lv.170+ character, even if you invested 50 stat points into vitality, just by using a ns +B hell reaper, 4th anniv greatsword iX

You can go with glass cannon pure damage 2h with 3 stacks godspeed wield if you get lvl 10 play dead stargem and has an op support pet with lvl 10 first aid, it's ok to die a lot, since you'll come back a few seconds later anyway xD, this way you'll learn how to time your meteor's invincibility frames against the boss attack pattern better, and be able to copy Hivan's 1 hp untouchable solo boss runs:rolleyes:

PS: I haven't really tested that advice of mine yet, since my support pet's first aid is still low level, so take it with a grain of salt:p

Oh, shat. I'm gonna die now in battle.. x.x

    EDIT:wasn't a godspeed wield+1hp=extremely risk to death?

I can say that you should need a lot of ampr (> 60 ampr) so that you can spam some invicibility skills to avoid being killed if you want to build a glass cannon dps (Very risky and EXTREMELY HARD to master it).

Any hit you take will kill you. Unless if it's a current HP% fractional.

Lol I guess fractional dmg is the cause of death to all dps.

i'm technically a glass cannon everything including 2h, but with 2h after eating food buff from guildie, i automatically get 3.8k hp which makes me less glassy as i hit slightly over 10k hp XD. but overall i'm a horrible melee player, and i mistimed my combos all the time, if i'm lucky, i'll jump up from my mb right as their aoe hits or... i land right when they hit and if it's a fractional dmg, i'll die or come very close to death. but when i'm not dying, i'm killing soo...to me it doesn't really matter as long as i'm having fun
