Good class atm?

Any good class atm that can deal high damage in long and short runs?
And is also somewhat cheaper to build
(No mage pls)

 

In my opinon i think it is Archer class, since crossfire can deal high damage by just 3charges(done 8secs), good for short and long runs since you can also accompany it by snipe. It is cheap coz you don't need to buy many bows for different kinds of elements because there are arrows that you can rely on. Also the fullcrit stat armor can be used again by other classes if you wil be having one.. so I think that's the good one for now^^.

Seriously though. You'd still deal Huge damage with Finale using dirt cheap equips. Some luck mage are even outdamaging me(don't have lvl4 yet).

The gameplay is a bit brain dead though. You just use Sneak(standalone, just the 1st time) then Impact>Finale(smite)>Sneak(swift) then mp charge and maximizer. Well I guess atleast you need to be good at positioning and know when it's safe to use the combo.

 

Archer seems nice after the lv4 skills got released hmmmmmmm any thoughts bout 2h and dw atm?

 

Dual Wield got left behind. Barely any of them in the game nowadays.
2H was class of the month until mage kicked in. I dont really know much about them since I'm a pew pew mage xD.

2h has better survivability with i frame and no cast time.

 

I can still out dps some finale mages with my 2hs (mostly those that dont have queen staff), 2hs can't deal tons of dmg but since its easy to ampr with rampage you can smash 5-6mp cost combos while maintaining max proration

If you want best dps, its mage imo, bcs all other physical classes will prorate you usually. (assuming you have tank to hold aggroand positioning the boss).
But!! If what you mean is the EASIEST class TO USE (nearly brain dead) and can deal ton of dmg.... Well... It will be mage imo. Just impact finale should be good.

 

Recently fought crossfires at danelia with finale, didnt get to 2nd finale and danelia is ded. I think they waited the 3secs cf thingy. Wondered would that out dps meteor?

Depends on what you like to play as. Right now the top dps skills are: finale, crossfire and meteor.
I'm a healer dagger mage(can't be an arrow mage with my build and its been working pretty well) and have been out dps'ing the other two. However it varies from pty to pty. Finale can reach over 1m DMG if I'm not mistaken. However for that you need very good proration. Most of the ptys I've been in..well... they don't care to prorate and kinda ruin it. They are just competing for atkr rank, I mean if they'd just help prorate instead of competing for rank it'd go a lot faster. I try to help prorate but when its just being ruined by that I give up, spam finale combo and take the precious rank they were competing for.

 

Are you partying with mages too? Only mages would ruin your proration BTW.

 

Usually a "balanced" type of Pty. Do remember that most classes use a variety of skills, including but not limited to storm and impact from the mage skill tree. Most 2h users I have partied with spam a combo using storm in it to prorate themselves. Most of the party members I'm with consist of the variety of archers, mages, 1/2h users and and tanker types. I do decent damage when in ptys with another mage, one archer/1/2h user and a tanker type. Its usually when I'm in ptys with 2 archers that I deal less damage XD

Usually my best damage is when its just me and my husband's archer duoing XD but that's just one physical (-fu type) and one magic type.

 

Haha, also wonder why... But after mage's comeback as best DPS with finale, it is stealing the spotlight away

 

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm having a hard time choosing between archer or 2h, i pretty much like doing big damage but can also live in long runs

 

The three top dps classes can do that and also depend on your skill using them. Mages are stuck in position when casting finale. Crossfire requires it to be charged without being hit. And 2h can be caught in combo.
