With all of the fuss going on, I figured I would share this video I saw recently.

IDK if this is 100% confirmed, but as you can see in the video, Toram should be getting a PC release soon, probably in December. This is most likely why the devs have been cracking down on emulators recently and updating their servers (probably for heavier loads), and I suppose this will lead to a better future for Toram. Less botters, hackers, and cheaters, and you can still play on PC.

Even if emulator bans aren't a problem for you, I would highly recommend you try playing Toram on a PC once this is released because Toram runs beautifully on a PC.

the onlt problem with the official PC game is hacking, its so more eazy to hack games on pc...
they removed almost all the ways to hack on cellphones, but how will they do that on pc?
they need a hack detector system

mine runs on my cellphone just fine, 60 fps, max quality, less than 1s loading screens, no battle lag and etc

Hacks, emulators, and rooting are usually detected by checking for things like device information, programs running in the background, and whether or not all of the game's files are what they should be. Toram's cheating detection systems may have been missing some of this functionality, and that could be the deal with all of the server updates. It would definitely still be easier to hack on a PC, but I feel like if the devs wanted to get rid of 100% of hackers it would just make the game inaccessible.

In regards to performance, I originally started playing Toram on my PC because my phone was slow, and I still haven't replaced it since I mostly use it for social media now. I suppose the emulator bans have been the universe's way of telling me to get a new phone haha. Even though phones are capable, being able to have a big screen and the ability to have a browser open at the same time is one of the nice things about Toram on PC for me, plus I like the controls more.

Yeah I stopped playing for about year, and I've been playing again for 2-3 months. The reason I took a break was because I have been wanting to be a programmer and game developer for a while, but playing too many video games got in the way. Now I'm a bit better at time management, so I feel like I can do both, and I missed Toram. That being said, IDK if I will still be super active on the forums because some people here are toxic and no fun to argue with, as you probably saw from the last few threads where people wanted to argue, but not actually come up with any real arguments, while others are pessimistic and every update is doom and gloom and going to destroy the game.

That's a 1st party app officially by asobimo so it's totally fine.

But makes me laugh thinking people would play a lame game like toram on PC, when there are whole bunch of way better games on PC already.
Toram is a perfect mobile game, so Idk what asobimo is upto.

Though as per some reports asobimo is getting desperate.
I won't get into details about it.

Btw there is no difference between mobile and pc version of toram.
It's not really a PC version.
It is emulator version which is 100% same as mobile version.

So Idk about toram running beautifully on PC.
Unless you have been using mobile from cave. Lol

Some people been spreading biased and hypocritical informations around so someone had to argue against it.
Otherwise people will simply believe whatever they see if there are no proper clarifications against it.

Most games i know with both mobile and pc version aren't cross-platform.
At least a pc launcher is good news. Might help reducing the number of people complaining about emulator users :D

I chose to play on emulator as Toram detect something in my phone that i can't find no matter how hard i try to, and cannot buy a new phone due to personal circumstance. I find emulator has its pros and cons. Bigger screen, having stuff standing by, not worry about battery, etc... But I also have issues such as set up controlling buttons sometimes being not as responsive as i wanted, having to use the mouse every once in a while (which sometimes magically disappear from my sight, made me go "where's the mouse? where's the goddamn mouse???"), unable to do any transaction for paid orbs.
Biggest issue to me is breaking boss parts. I can't just set buttons filling the entire screen, and the mouse keeps "disappearing" from my sight plenty times. The solution i came up with is setting 15-20 buttons as tight as possible in a small spot, which works cheatingly when the parts are up close and doesn't move much, but sucks otherwise.
Tbh I'd play on phone if i can, rather than having to turn on the pc everytime i want to play. As if i can just bring the pc/laptop anywhere XD

Dunno if i can deny the former or not, but for the latter I'm actually not that pessimistic. I still cling onto hope whenever they announce new stuff. Though, whatever i have hope on usually end up being horrible, while ones that i don't have hope on instead turning out to be awesome. Like magic blade & dark skill lv4.
I also previously thought that kunai was just a meh skill until people pointed out that it's actually a very nice 1mp combo opener.
At least it seems that there can still be good stuff hidden within the sea of sadness.

I think there may be a reasonable chance that Toram PC will be cross-platform. A while back when I had my phone plugged in to my computer, I decided to look through the game's files out of curiosity. I remember seeing a few Unity-related files, which would suggest that Toram was of course made in Unity, which is a good engine for cross-platform and can port to many devices. I can imagine that making Toram for PC would have been as easy as changing some platform-specific code, changing the inputs and UI, possibly getting a plugin for cross-platform, and then doing a build for PC and maybe even Mac and Linux.

I also have some responsivity issues too, but just in combat. I solve this by double-clicking everything.

Idk, cross platform games may split the resources between each platform. Genshin had generic annoying UI for the mobile version. Scrolling the camera might accidentally trigger a skill or elemental burst. Toram's UI is underrated atm but that could change

This cannot be more false. There are still so many ways to hack the game on both iOS and Android systems, and this is coming from someone with 10 years experience in development and coding.

but i think there are a lot less of hackers on mobile, idk if its harder to hack in mobile, but hackers are more common on pc (at the same time there isnt a lot of good mobile games that hacking is worth)

and i say hackers (those that create the progams), not cheaters that use them

at least on pc botting is harder as you need a steam account, mobile you dont need any account

It's more convenient to create hacks on PC, not nessacarily harder. Peripherals, folders, file management, IDE's (Android Studio and such), GitHub repositories, ect, make the process of development easier for development if apps/jacks/ect (for most people). Compared to using a phone to develop hacking programs. Regardless of the medium your using to develop the hacks, you're working with the IOS/Android Operating System, since you'd be making a APK/IPA or something similar, there are other cases, but we'll keep it simple. With a phone you'd be doing a similar process, it just depends on how easily you find working with a phone is compared to working with a computer. Computer still has the advantage of testing parallel emulations though, and most those familiar with mobile development typically use a computer.

There's also programs that make android hacking easier, but these programs exist on both PC and mobile.

Botting is just a emulation farm with preset commands. If they want to they can do it on steam, since there have been work-arounds to multiple accounts for years. They could also just make work-arounds for emulations. If they're making money, they are most certainly going to find a way to work around it.

Ultimately, your correct but for the wrong reasons, less people create and use hacks on mobile. Mostly cause decekopment on PC is faster and it's what most devs know how to use. Not cause hack devs couldn't make them on a phone, they very well could (it's annoying unless you enjoy phone typing). They're working with the same operating system at the end of the day.
