Guard Rate Glitch

So, when I use Shock Absorbing Cream, which should bring my guard rate up to 86%. I don't activate guard at all. As in ZERO, NEVER.
79% guard rate, using a shield, with heavy armor. Both guard skills maxed.
With the cream, %86 guard rate.
I tested with the buff and without it, on the exact same boss. Crystal titan. Before usingn the cream guard rate activated a lot. After using buff. Would not activate at all for the entire 30 minutes.

Anyone else experience this?
Or, can anyone else test to verify?

which monster where you fighting?
guard doesn't activate against fractional damage and charge and foe_epicenter attacks. also, when fighting multiple monsters, it only works on your target.

and the most helpful comment ever: did you try turning it off and on?

use the in-game report feature to send a bug report. they will send you an email asking to list all your gears and stats, map, boss, date and time and then try to reproduce it. then you will either get "the function is working correctly" or "we have confirmed a bug".
there's nothing else you can do about it.

 

Lmfao i used to be a support technician. Never again.
I have scrapped the character. Been building it for 3 years. Always some bs comes up that screws it over. I find a work around... And low.and behold another thing to screw it over. Rinse and repeat for 3 years. Im done. I quit. This has happened about 20-30 times. P.suzuki needs to burn in a literal fire.

It would have been a TRUE dps tank hybrid. Not kinda sorta. The first one... But im just exhausted with it. Cheers to whoever carries the torch. If not for the bug... Total guard rate with buffs 91%, past cap. Guard power %67. Att stat was around 3000 with buffs. 11.5k hp . 1300 mp. Ampr no buffs was 50ish depending on equips. With buffs ampr was 95. Crit rate was over %100 with buffs. Crit dmg was 214%. 3k aspd. So also very fast (for a tank). Abusing trigger slash as well made a terrifyingly fast tank. Making combos that chain together. as well. The first two combos were the slowest,but still quick, after that, its all set up to abuse trigger slash. Aggro is easy when you're throwing out 600-900 mp combos every second lol. Never ran out of mp either. Without that buff... Not viable for survival. Yes, it did matter u non sayers.
NO FOOD BUFFS USED AT ALL.
So imagine adding that in.
Also no survival tree at all.
Hadnt had the chance to implement battle tree either.
NO IMPACT OR DECOY EITHER.
NO PLAYER CRAFTED GEAR EITHER.
