*Guard*

    This might sound like a dumb question...but do i need to have Shield Skills to Guard?

    Skill Trees at the moment:
    Blade Skills
    Survival Skills
    Knight Skills

    No. Shield skills don't actually provide any Guard chance.

    Things that provide guard:
    Shield (just need to equip)
    Excavated golem xtal (5% for weapons)
    Tortuga xtal (4% for armor)
    Skill Gloria - provides 10-15% at max level (priest skill)
    Heavy armor - remodeled in blacksmith (think base is a couple % not sure)
    Heavy armor skill - this is in the guard skills
