Haian's pure 1hand-MD

I have been usong HB since I played toram and this is my fist time in other class. This build focuses on using the magic swordsman skill tree more than anything else. With this, I am able to change my playstyle depending on the oponent and party members. I can shift between physical and magic attacks. Of course, dont expect attacker rank as this is more of a utility build rather than DPS.

Total crit: 25+15+15+15+5+5+5+18 = 103

I can use enchant sword for physical attacks. For magic attacks, start with punish ray then element slash. Total crit after punish is 203 which gives me 50%magic crit when using elem slash and 100% crit if weakeb procs. If you are fast enough you can make 2 elem slash before weaken wears off.

If i remember it correctly, there are some gears that raises atk that's based on INT and gears that raises matk that’s based on STR, I forgot the name of those gears but first thing that popped on my mind is magic swordsman

 

Slotted small fairy wings only have 25% bonus on int ant str.
Made a few revision on my gear setup.
Weapon: same
Sub: all elem md
Additonal: witch hat + gesp 2
Armor: curious dress
Special: machina ring + odelon + spectr

Total crit = 25+25+30+15+18+5+5+5 = 128
Combo 1: reflex>punish>element.
Combo2: ether>element s>finale/ender
Combo3: impact > enchant (smite)>flasblast(cons)

If weaken procs in combo1 then use combo 2.
Ether and element slash can deal a total of 100 to 150k damage
My enchant sword (smite)can now deal about 150 to 200k damage.

 

This is what makes magic swordsmen VERY DANGEROUS especially if the user underatands the mechanics of proc

You got both physical and magical damage

Each time one does physical damage again and again, the monster builds resistance, same with magic. Each “switch” resets the proc, damaging the bastard/bitch to the fullest degree

 

punish ray is too damn slow, plus getting magic crit only for ether flare and element slash is kind of not worth it. I get it that its a pure 1h+md build, but id rather use usheathe gears, and keep spamming element slash, the combo would be something like this. Ether flare>enchant sword(smite)>trigger slash(cons). Then do some auto attacks. Thats a swifted ether flare and 30+20 extra ampr with the mp cost of 400 mp. You can just use the conventional crit gears with FC weapon and FC sword. Use top hat with baphomela and odelon, ring with Seele zauga and another odelon. And then there's resonance, you can use a secondary combo of impact>enchant sword(smite)>ether flare(cons).

 

I agree focusing on enchant sword will give more damage. Right now my ES does more damage than than smite element slash and ether flare combined. If I change my build to str>dex instead of str>int, Enchant will dish out even more damage. But right now I dont have the resourses to reset everything. Also, i am quite enjoying my.magic crit build. I use my pray+element slash more than Enchant even if the latter is more powerful.

By the way I scraped my reflex,,>pray>element slash combo. Itsl's too slow. I reverted to.manually casting pray then element slash>ether flare combo x2


I just wish that element slash will get perfect aim if MD sub has elemental advantage against the target.

My build is useless against anniv bosses (nuetral element) and high difficulty bosses(high dodge ans eva). I think perfect aim will work well

The - damage to water and light kinda throws me off. Nevertheless, will try this out. On the other hand, is there an MD with a longer range than el Vento (6m)? Other MD only has 4m range


So I tried the sacred ice armor and my atk reached 1.9k similar to my matk but I loose crit. This is because I dont have a fc weapon
