Haise's 1H Dps/tank build (LV 80)

@Arez Are you trying to be everything?
Read the thread title and look at his build's main purpose - DPS and Tank. Means he's going for high damage attacks and pulling lots of aggro.

 

Pulling attacker rank will depend on the other members skill and equipment. I have pulled attacker over many mage and snipers but can get outshined just as easily. For ranks, I will always get breaker, tanker I'd say 80% of the time I will have it secured because of high aggro pulling snipers. War cry and gloria are good options but I'm not wanting to go down the support role as I'd rather use those skill points towards possibly sword tempest or another damage skill. I wanted to focus this build on dealing sufficient damage as well as maintaining aggro and good amount of HP, though 1h/shield swordies are very versatile so going down the support role is still a good choice, just not what I want my build to achieve

 

Why did you choose Sword Technique?

P.s. I don't mean to criticizing your build, I'm just wondering what it does and how it helps >~<

 

From what I'm aware of it increases sword skill damage like astute/hh/ trigger etc, but in all honesty it was a blind move, I've never tested it without sword technique

Thank you for posting this build, it look's really interesting. I have a couple questions:
1) How often does shield bash hit at lv.1?
2) Supposing I invest 9 points in the skills that are maxed and invest the points I save in other skills. Would the difference of using lv.9 skills as compared to their maxed versions be a lot?

I'm not criticising your build in anyway, just asking for your opinion as I'm quite new to the game. Thanks in advance.

 

For me shield bash will activate first try half of the time, sometimes on second combo, but stun does have a pretty big cool down as well. As for not maxing and keeping them lvl 9, I couldn't see how it would make too much of a difference in my opinion, a little smaller chance of inflicting flinch, a little smaller astute buff, a tiny bit less hp etc. Although for provoke it will be 300mp unless maxed which is only 200mp so if your not gonna max some skills to strategize some sp I'd recommend to still keep provoke, rage sword and sanctuary at 10

hi there
your build sure has 100% chance to hold aggro which is nice , and with the new gears and xtals 4k hp is easy to get.
i want to remake my 1h but f cape is ruining it because of hp regen -50%...

i have one thing to talk about , which is fighter's high skill (under hp boost).
i wont mind adding 1 skill point on it because it will activate recovering hp inside boss battles when "dancing" with the boss and that will help saving revita (which i didnt need to use until ancient empress came from iruna to force me to use it).
fighter's high is hp regen based , high hp and hp regen increase the hp you recover, i made a video showing how it works (my english isnt that good so i had hard time trying to explain how it works, read the description)


if you think its possible to add fighter's high on your build and removing f cape while still having +800aspd let me know because im still using bd sword (too lazy to use mega speed potions) and i need to change it to have high atk while still having high aspd (+850).
