Hal bird questions

Okay. So i noticed most builds here revolve around punish ray and a halbie's crate/cdmg. I want to try a build (that doesn't revolve around p.ray - I'm rpolly gonna keep it at lvl 5 - but there are some things I'm not so sure about. Advance thanks to anyone patient enough to answer my questions.

1. Dagger vs arrow
-as we know, our subs are limited to these 2 equipments/weapons. I'm unsure what stats apply when we equip either one of these to a halberd user.
-which do you think is a better choice? Pros and cons?
2. What does agi do, exactly, apart from aspd? It mentions there's a slight atk growth? How high/low?
3. Agi vs crit stat?

I'll prolly have more questions as my halbie progresses, but right now these are my main concerns. If there's any thread that would answer these, I'd appreciate it if anyone can point me to the right direction. My search-fu is lvl 1 so...

I like arrow because of the save of smoke it help u get a faster combo

Third choose agi if u r using ray or crit if u r not

 

Thanks. I'm also thinking of -aggro since I'm prolly gonna be squishy af. Any idea which stats apply from the sub weapon?

 

Arrow or dagger ?

Dagger : heavy or odd
Arrow : artisan or blade
Btw arrow as sub gives -25% def and mdef

thanks. yeah, I've seen that. I'm just not sure if i want to add magic skills. I'm trying to avoid copying the builds here lol. That's why I'm trying to find out some stuff.

Btw, if i use dagger, will its crate/cdmg have any effect? Or is it just the base dmg? I've forgotten how sub weapons work. =/

 

the stat on dagger will work on arrow it only works with bow/bg

 

Lol try before saying
Stats of arrow work for halberd
But those don't work (elements, atk , stability)

 

AGI adds 1.5 atk to halberds, which is roughly half of what STR gives (2.5).
AGI also adds aspd and dodge and it's the only stat that qualifies you for light armor.
the skill Quick Aura adds 500 aspd at lv10 but it also adds a little extra scaling with AGI.

in my "Complete Class Guide" (link in signature) i have 3 variations for halberds =(^.^)=
this guide also describes the performance of halberds compared to other weapons and explains the differences between daggers and arrows

 

welp compare the stat, dagger is much better than the arrows i dontknow about the arrow stuff since i never experiment those but for me dagger is>arrow when it comes to stats and also some arrow have a stat with restriction

 

Smoke is enough to beat dagger

 

spamming strike is enough for me and also with smoke u will have along combo short combo is my playstyle so imma stick with dagger
