Halb newbie

hello im a halb newbie and i have some questions on the class.

Im looking to make a halb for short boss runs and have strike stab as the main dps skill. Is it a must to have punish ray as the secondary support skill so that i dont have to focus on having all crit rate equips? Also need some inputs on gothic hat vs tyrant mask.

I help answering your questions
1. For what I saw when refining your weapon, your halb is full crit halb, if u want punish ray halb, the stat of weapon must be atk7%cd7%cd14, odd shape knife as dagger, armor str7%cd7%cd14, tyrant mask with choco ooze or nightcap with baphomela, muscle talisman III with don yeti.
basically nightcap (or choco ooze) is aiming for 1k cspd, since your punish ray need to be 0.8 cast time.
2. For full crit halb, u need full crit weapon and armor, gothic +15 with proto leon, demi knife as dagger, muscle talisman with bexiz.

ehhmm, I didnt say that actually. xD. basically halb has a few types build.
1. Full crit
more like burst damage where u spam strike stab endlessly. it's more quantity damage.
2. Punish ray
its more like 1 shot high damage strike stab. it's more quality damage. punish ray used before strike stab so it has 100% crit on strike stab. thats why u dont need full crit gear
3. halb+snipe
basically it's a full crit build with snipe as secondary main damage. long combo and destroy proration

Why is punish ray build more expensive?

 

More expensive in a way that it needs another armor other than c7ccc14 to boost crit damage haha but thats just it. (Already built my a7ccc14 spear anyways)

 

What armor does it require?

 

What gets attacker rank more? Full crit or p ray?

 

i see you already asked the same question on the nightmare build and its true what he said; that the spam build wins if they can manage their mp. also P.ray can't be spammed because you have to cast p.ray every time you want to strike stab

 

Ahhhh... hmmm okay then hehe. Thanks i’m contemplating on whether i should stick to spam or try p ray. Thing is my armor is full crit lmao

 

one question which can help: do you wanna continuously see decent numbers from strike tab multiple times or one set of whopping numbers for strike stab? hope that helps lol

Wont the str7 or c7 make a huge difference? Or it’s manageable?
