Halberd build

Hi all, I am thinking of resetting my halberd. I have 2 builds in my mind.

A. Dragon Tooth WCOS build:
Str 100
Vit 100
Agi rest
I am thinking if having high HP and keep my HP at 60% so I can sp WCOS.
It's like Impact>DT>Finale then WCOS

B. Full Crit spear stabbuild
Str 255
Crit 34
Agi rest.
This is an old spear stab build but I'll include chronos drive because i like seeing mulitple crit numbers go up.

Also can you confirm this if I have swifted Chronos Drive, the additional attacks will be around 13 ifI have 2200 ASPD
No of attacks = 10/(0+(1.5*0.5)) = 13.33

Appreciate your inputs on which one should I build

 

A: Sounds like the standard combo but with less damage. And how do u plan to stay at 60%hp? More VIT will make this more difficult.
B: Why 34 crit exactly?

 

Assuming I'll get around 12k max hp, 60% will be 7.2k.
1. Use quick aura to lower my hp to 60%
2. Set may autopots to 25% (3k hp) and use revita iv(recovers 4k hp).
Even after using revita, my hp will not exceed 60% and illI still get 300mp from wcos.

As for the 34 crit this will add 10 base crit. To have 100% crit with strike stab based on the equips that i have
(((25+10)*(1+.16+.16))/2)+10(dagger)+5(crit spear)+5(crit up)+16(weapon)+16(armor)+20(shaved ice)+ 5(avatar)

Adding swift tag on chronos drive doesn't give additional attack

Actually, the % to crit rate from CRT and gears that adds to base crit will increase the penalty of strike stab that halves base crit%. However, flat aka +crit from gears does not get this penalty. Correct me if I'm wrong about this..apologize for any inconvenience.

 

Anybody ties the updated chronos drive?

 

It recovers about 180 mp overtime

 

Yes, base crt penalty at lvl 10 is halved base crt
Which means, with 0 CRT stat, you'll get 12.5 crit instead of 25

 

I have tested it, and based on my observation
It restores around 20 or 25 per tick at lvl 10
Since 4 tick will give 100 mp back

 

how bout with high amounts of atk spd or motion speed?

 

I think you should max str tho in build A
Since besides it gives 2.5 atk for each str, it also gives cd and stability (250 str is 12% if I'm not mistaken, correct me if I'm wrong)
And considering Dt has 100% pierce, critdmg becomes more potent because the base value (referring to (1-Boss_Resist)*ATK-Boss_Def) is not decreased by boss def.

 

Before the latest update, the tick delay were like this

Tick delay = Auto Atk delay + 1.5*(1-motion speed)/100
Note: motion speed from swift tag doesn't affect it

So supposed you have ASPD>1100 and a motion speed of 35% (this is how much you get if you use gsw stack 3, approximately)

Then, the delay between tick would be
Tick delay = 0 + 1.5*65/100=0.975 second
Or practically 1 second for each stick
And the total tick would be 10/1+1(first tick) = 11 tick

Not sure if they changed it now or not tho
All I know is that tec doesn't give extra constant anymore

 

What can you say about this combo?
Spikedart/assault attack>strikestab(smite) >arcane strike (smite)
This will use up all my mp but i will have an additional 20 ampr
Just want to know if arcane strike will continue if i only have 3mp?or i need a minimum of 4mp to complete thr skill.
Also, whicj is better? Spike dart or assault attack? Both gives 100% slow at lvl 10.

Assault would cost you less sp, as for arcane strike, if you only need the ampr, you can use save tag. It won't do much damage with low mp anyway

 

Spike dart if you're running a normal gsw halb running around at 1 hp, else take assault. Also ampr would only come to play if you're hitting autos. As a halb you're either: a) maxing cdmg and throwing dtooth without crit rate resulting in you missing autos or b) investing in 100 crit rate (idk why you'd do that) and dealing no dmg. Don't forget that tagging arcane with smite at the end of combo doubles its mp usage to twice your current mp, which means it will never activate.

 

I want to build a nonDT halberd with decent proration

I am planning on investing on equipment crits rather than stat.

How about this, spike dart>chronos(save) >sstab (smite)

S. Stab will have 90% damage but i will recover 200mp over 10 sec with chronos Drive. Not sure about how much mp c. Drive recovers.
My target crit is 113 to have 100crit on my s. Stab
Stat 25
Additional 20
Skills 10
Parasol lance 30
Sub 10
Armor 16

 

chronos drive
2mp recovered with no gsw
4mp recovered with gsw

 

why play halb at all if you cant prorate, ofc you need 100 crit rate, just because DT is 100% crit doesnt mean you dont need crit rate

 

Putting save tagged arcane strike at the end of the combo would cost you no mp, I've tried it myself on my HB back on reset week, scrapped it because I feel like the animation is too long for a decoy+DT spam
