Every other weapon > katana :3
Though I'd go for either 2h or halberd, there the easiest and most straight forward.

Hmmm at 150 you'd still have 38sp(excluding sp from emblems).

Save 20 sp for Buster Blade and Meteor. You might want Berserk or not, up to you.

    Berserk -
Pros: +50 crit rate for THS, Rampage won't get cancelled by Ailments, Higher Auto Attack Damage, and Higher ASPD.
    Cons: -Def/Mdef, -25% Stability

18 sp can be used on katana skills namely Shukuchi and Two-Handed. Shukuchi gives you the ability to dash towards opponent when you normal attack. Two-Handed gives +10% weapon attack, +10% accuracy, +5% Crit Rate, +5% Stability if you have no sub weapon equipped.

    Skills:
    *Lvl 5 Bushido
    *Lvl 1 Shukuchi
    *Lvl 10 Two-Handed

So that would be 16 sp. The other 2 you can put anywhere you like.

This is assuming you don't intend to use Skill Reset on your THS user.

You won't need to reset your character to get shukuchi to level 1, it only costs 6sp, though getting Two-Handed would cost another 10.

Don’t try katana if your not rich, doe if your really in love with it then try bow with katana sub.
it’s cheap to build and you can take advantage of skills like magadachi for damage mitigation and snipes for dps.

So, you have lv130 char meaning only has access to lv3 skill.
Your problem is fast moving bosses. I assume its because tempest is placed skill so, bosses that moves alot wont get full hit from whirlwind.
And you want to reset, easy to use chasing skills, good for fast run, and decent to good dmg burst.
    Rank (based on me) :
    1. Bow
Snipe can still make a good dps even when lv4 skills release (which u dont have access yet). Its easy to use (no requirement in general). +b bow are quite easy(not so bad price) to get.
    2. Halberd
Strike stab dmg is good compared to other lv3 skills due to only 2mp, fast, but need ailment(spike dart is enough). The real downside is high crit rate requirement to make it never miss. Price is not bad too for +b (more expensive than bow i think, need confirmation). The reaaaaly big downside is when you get lv150, you dont (really) need stike stab anymoar.
    3. Katana
ope noooope. Unless you like it cool,,, katana is abiy tricky to use. And for fast run, sniper is better imo (can keep hitting or sniping from afar). The good thing is you can still use lv3 skill when you get lv4 skill, their dmg is insane (but need requirement, especially lv4 skill).

Not recommended based on your preference(hard to hit fast moving bosses, etcetc)and lv3 skill only :
Mage: his main lv3 skill is storm, similar nature with tempest.
Knux: lv3 skill dmg has requirement to use for good dmg (heavy smash) which is sometimes hard to control. For further info about this, ask knux master.
    1h/2h: no explanation

i would suggest you use your 2hs until 150 and reset to any other char you like.... Esp with halberd since tier3 halberd skills are barely useful at 150

2hs will have the same problem as tempest when you reach 150 since meteor is another placer aoe skill...

Bows however, can still use snipe as a secondary dps on 150 since crossfire has a very long charge time, so you can swap to bow now if you want...

Been mage since birth even in real life.. So we got a Samurai who can do magic?

2H is Great and Fun, Probably the most fun and reliable DPS at level 150

But we got OP Mage ONLY if you have QUEEN STAFF, Luck mage with queen staff beat me in dps >.>

Bow Crossfire might be no.1 DPS for physical, but it's damn boring -_-"

It might take a week or more for you to reach lv150 but heres a standard combo:

Astute, beserk save, reflex cons, war cry cons, impact cons, meteor smite, buster smite, meikyo cons. Total 3mp

You can replace meikyo ender with tempest or rampage depending on situations. Can also replace reflex with quick aura swift. You can also switch the order of buster and impact meteor for 10%atk buff from buster.

And this combo will make u dead at strong attack bosses, for short combos go check how those 2h do gem runs or something. Sorry i lack experience

Why not all three? Bow+Katana with Godspeed Wield, Renshin, and Meikyo on Decoy Shot with Crossfire Tenryu >w0

In all seriousness, if you like frontlines, Katana is something you should consider, to ruin proration with Tenryu spam and then Zentei/Mugadachi.
If you like being a mid-line fighter with Godspeed Wielding Grazing Lord of the Spears, be my guest.
Or if you like staying as far away as possible, bow is nice, you can be charging up a crossfire as you watch your friends die and then steal attacker by nuking the enemy.

Some say, Katana is quite tricky and expensive to build. so for now i think i wont touch that class.
i think i go with bow for next class . :)

Double smite one after another? The second one would only be 100%. He also probably won't have berserk and meikyou as he is already lacking in skill points.

    @JibrutoX
As for combo, hmmm with your skills:
1st combo(1mp 110% Buster combo; you can make it 130% by adding Astute(cons) before Buster):
Holy fist(or Reflex which you can get via Star Gems)>Tempest(save)>War cry(cons)>Buster(smite)>Impact(cons)

    Followed by
2nd Combo(1 mp if used after 1st combo otherwise 2 mp 130% Meteor):
    Astute>Tempest(save)>War cry(cons)>Impact(cons)>Meteor(smite)>Trigger(cons)

    Quick Combos:
    Obviously it's just
    Impact>Meteor(smite)>Astute(cons) - 5mp

1st time hearing double smite back to back gives 100%, gotta learn more then.

But buster smite, impact cons, meteor smite will give 130% for buster and 150% meteor?

Build depends on your play style rather than which do the highest dps overall. If you don't like a class go for the one you like xD they all do exactly same dmg depending on if you know what you are doing.

Yes, Smite tag lowers the damage of the skill next to it by 50% so you need a filler.
