Halloween 2020 Skill and Combo changes.

    I argued with someone there sayingnlong combo generates a lot of aggro and I was like, "do you guys know what negative aggro is?" and still insist it is not enough. I even explained that short combo spam generate more specifically most people don't use negative aggro stat.

    -aggro is enough even for mercs/pets to hold aggro, those dudes never tried it because they're too confortable going full ofensive stats while the tank does all the job in aggro matter. In the end it was all about big numbers

    On different note anyone else having issues with Minstrel songs since the combo rework? Sometimes songs get stuck in that 10s interrupt cd even after Ab-Lib or casting a new one. Seems to only when im playing with someone though.

    braindead spammer generate more aggro compare to mid~long combo (short combo vs shortest mid combo test)

    a braindead spammer can generate 200+500~600 aggro point (2~3 sec)

    while mid combo is about only 1500mp per combo i think in 5~6sec
    ex combo. 1mp opener + 3mp war cry(save) + 0mp quick aura (tough/swift/bloodsuck) + 0~3mp skill (cons/bloodsuck) + 2mp impact (cons) + 5~6mp (smite)


    short combo braindead spam = 1400~1600aggro/6sec

    mid combo = 1200~1500 aggro/6sec

    I'm sure the devs took all this into account when reworking the combo tags. Honestly, it was well thought out and fixed nearly EVERYTHING. Even knux and magic imbalances.

    They need a toram sequel if those players wanna keep their idiot system so bad.

    Does anyone use Any of the new tags and/or improved Tenacity?

    Outside of specific cases? No.
    Smite, all the time still. In the same way, forever. Zzzz.

    Bloodsucker sometimes. More heavily if i'm not dodging/guarding well, other days not at all.

    Tenacity. Only for bosses with large spike pits or extreme mobility on Halberd to force 50% HP threshold for WCOS spam if all else fails. I wanted to try a build that really abuses tenacity and bloodsucker. But there's literally no reason to when I can just use easy smite combos while staying super safe. Maybe I'll try another AGI/VIT Halberd or Brawler for fun build, but, eh.

    Mind's Eye. Mostly for status effects I want on all the time, but only want to use the skill once it's timer is off. Snipe, Heavy Smash, Chronos Drive, Dive Impact, Earth Bind, ect fall into these use cases. Unfortunately the qualifier to use this tag only applies when a boss doesn't die fast enough, or they have enough crit resist/evasion for it to matter.

    Consecutive, almost never.
    Reflection, Invincible, no comment, haven't really touched them. Have some ideas, but not at all motivated to chase those ideas.

    Don't use anything slow enough for Tough outside of occasional Heavy Smash or Chakra when partied with sub-7k HP players that can't dodge. Or when I want to abuse Sanctuary threshold to facetank and shovel DPS into something I would usually be dodging/blocking for 0 damage. But that's only on my for fun build. 98/100 times, it's not worth the risk, since my character is too squishy to abuse the added resistance (or uses GSW) in anything difficult and would tank my damage in a "serious" setting.

    Overall, not much changed, and I hate it. .-.
