Handmade Cookie event boss...

Anyone care to share how this fella's damage cap activates and deactivates? Would be nice to understand the boss mechanic so that I (i mean 'we all)' can farm this boss more efficiently. Thanks in advance!

Currently so far, i'm just saving my smited Chariots until i see its health bar drop significantly due to another teammate's DPS skill, who are also spamming lol. There doesn't seem to be any noticeable animation that indicates the damage cap is down (or even back up again)... or is there?

 

Dunno, but i can say that the boss defense (or resistance) changes. Hell, maybe even reach <0% resistance because my tank which is using toy hammer standard 1 damage every hit usually changes to 5k per hit and after some time it will change again to 1

Interesting, i'll have to watch for that.

Earlier, after a couple more rounds, i found that when the damage of your auto attacks shifts from fixed to variable numbers, that's a good sign to unleash your dps on the boss...

 

Hmm..according to what l have experienced at this boss, and what my party members often say, we activate his guard/barrier by stunning and/or tumbling him . Due to that, as a mage, our finale dmg gets limited to 35k for an unknown period of time, n somehow..it disappears n boom ‘-‘) back at high dmg..even l haven’t actually understood this..thou my observations are :
1) Stun n tumble activate his..barrier n limits our attack(ok others observation xD)
2) Apparently, physicaly builds damage is more consistent than those of magic-oriented builds
3) In case he does active barrier, attack him with storm(as a mage xD) or for sword,dw,hlb, ktn ....spam ur combos :b
Hope this clears up atleast something ...n not confuses more xD

 

Ok so it seems for lvl 100 boss, flinch is still ok.

For 160 difficulty, all 3 interrupts activate dmg limit mode. No way to disable apart from waiting it out.

If you want a full break run, maybe drop a stun at start, then wait for the limit to drop (test with auto attacks) before you nuke it down.

Otherwise can do fk run by just avoiding interrupts/breaking altogether.

 

Does he drop anything worthwhile?

 

where is this boss? I've checked news and blacksmith and it says el scaro but I've ran all over that city. what did I miss? I wanna bash on a cookie!

 

The add is pretty nice (for looks).

You need to initiate the white day quest first, by speaking to NPC

 

From my tank perspective on lvl130:
After i tumble him (start of my combo) his switch "clicks" breaking away my combo and i start doing more dmg (7266 instead of 1).
Mostly this also happens after you flinch/tumble his all map aoe.
Not too sure, but did like 50 runs on lvl130.
My combo does flinch+tumble+stun and we finished at 1~2min on average.
I was even getting attacker a few times with a not so good team (lmao).

FYI, when u are doing the 7266 dmg on ur autos, other pt members's skill dmg is being capped significantly. As a tank, you may have faster runs if you hold the aggro but NOT using flinch/tumble/stun. Just sayin'

When you flinch/tuble /stun the boss, your auto attack damage ,additional melee/magic damge, aggravate and hidden arm increase while your physical and magic damage capped at 35k. The duration is same as flinch/tumble/stun resistance.

Damn! I knew it! Good thing to add on top of some kinky stuffs like mad doc or any bikini armor.

Edit: dang! I kept forgetting im flat ass broke due to the rewind. There is not much in the market and it cost a crap load of money.

Level 190(Coffee) Handmade Cookie drop.
The another one is estimated as bowgun version II i think.
dmg high enough huh.

ps: just for info: proto sword 285(60%) with 70% p.pierce which has gone missing XD (but i never get any tho)
