Have you ever been scammed?

I saw a player this morning complaining about not getting all their NC in Sofya and being ripped off, which is a bummer, so I thought I'd make a poll and ask the community here if you've ever been scammed by another player since you started playing.

 

Scammed?
Hell,i forgot how many times that i actually got scammed.
I lost my first hard earn one million to an idiot to convince me to buy a damn sword but end up being a trash which worth nothing.
Then follow by that,i lost around 10mill to nc seller.Yeah this bastard convince you that they WILL actually sent it through gift but no no lol they just log off and say bye bye.
Learn my lesson,now i only buy from trusted nc seller which os pretty good,i made back what i lost so its okay.*Gave them a penalty seven*

 

Never ever not at all.Many monsters tried it but I use my dragon slayer power and of course I win.TBH sometimes even scammers are dumb selling ganglef for 900k,I mean like really if he selling it for 1.3M someone might thing yeah "he just need fast spina other wise its price is 1.4M+" and that xtal turn out to be some potum xtal and that fool is soo noob keep doing that, but in way he is right someone more dumb then him might be fall for his trick.lol

Falling for nc via mail scam is silly.. mailing things one at a time isn't easier than direct trade..

 

Some admit that they use bot to mail the NC

 

we have bots that can send nc from accounts to accounts while farming,so there are people using that method to sell nc too.Usually pay first then they activate the auto send bot.

This save time for both the buyer and the seller,since they don't have to tap each other a few hundred times.


And scammers take advantage of that and run away with the money.

The most ridiculous part is that they're starting to get more and more smarter,looking reliable with their fancy mood messages like
"•*¨*•.I a m s c a m m e r¸¸☆*･" (just for funny example)
and cool detailed names like "ƊaŁεǰeŋď"
which can make you feel like they're people with high experience and stuff at first.


And the way they talked...They would be talking about "afraid to get scammed by you,so you have to pay them first".Easy bait.
Some even talk and act so casual it tricks you into thinking they seems nice and it's ok,but it's not.


or more cunning,like making double acc one for shouting (scam) and the other to say something like "he's trustable!" to trick everyone who is in doubt.

these are just a few of their method of scamming.In my opinion i can't blame the people who got scammed for being scammed or tell them they're gullible...

poor them really,...all of their hard work got swooped by some lazy jerk who can't get gud in farming by himself he have to go scam.

 

Not in here but in my very first MMO. Falled for the bait and switch trick.

And I guess in real life too XD. Got forced to buy some expensive useless thing. Took advantage of my good mood. Those sh!ts have pretty good grasp of psychology, I tell you.

 

I guess mailing via bot is doable. I still wouldn't touch it with a ten foot stick.. The amount of energy spent making 1mil spina if used to farm with a full luck char gets easily more nc than what could be purchased. With this events carp streamer hat, my full luck char gets 20+ stacks with an active party in about 2 hours.

 

Sucks that the +10 drop goes away after event tho..

 

Happens to us all.. and will happen more in the future. Part of life. Just gotta' be more careful

 

Didn't know that about BOTs, I thought they're illegal based on TOS and guidelines. I'm old fashioned, I farm stuff myself rather than use deceitful shenanigans or beg, to come up in this game.

 

I got scammed by an indo in iruna, lost 40 million which led me to quitting. I learned my lesson and never got scammed in Toram.

 

They call me scammer 100% of the time cause i offer free +e refine to players. Ive never scammed anyone yet get a bad name from the players that do. I also got scammed someone asked for 20k spina to hold why i refined there sword then i ended up with a wooden sword and minus 20k. Now i just tell people trust me or dont idgf.

 

Hey I remember you at Hora!! Someone was calling you a scammer, but then I said "trusted" and everybody else followed lol. The dude probabably felt so embarrased.

 

Yeah wish it lasted forever.. When the event is over I'll use a bunny ear hood with perro.
