So I'm completely sick of my 2h... At this point I'm just waiting to level a production class to the level cap and completely get rid of the huge sword. I decided I want to make a statter/refiner bs since I do want to be able to do those things myself. I can't really be bothered with alchemy stuff too (I never liked the profession in any game). Now I know there's a bunch of build videos on youtube for this sort of class but honestly, most of them are those 4 or even 6-in-one builds that I don't really want. And since I lack knowledge about the game in general, I'm turning to the professionals. What's a build that I can use to level my ideal smith even with the absolute worst gear? I only have about 3mil spina at most so I can't really afford anything halfway decent unless I really search hard, and don't even make me dream about slotted items haHAA

Usually a TEC smith will also be a synthesizer because we get enough skill points for both class in one character. Also with the new stackable side quest system, it is easier to level up non-combat character such as TEC smith. Frankly speaking, just level up your TEC char using main quest until lv 66 so that it can receive quest from Ravagne in El Scaro. Don't be disappointed with your 2H yet because you will use it to bully Metal Stinger repeatedly everyday for the sake of completing the side quest for your TEC char.
I don't really know the build for TEC smith because it is not for combat purpose after all. But if you want to also synth something, just use any decent DEX gear to increase the proficiency (not proficiency level) for higher level recipe.

I'm not really looking to synth anything or do anything alchemy related, as I said I don't like the alchemist profession. I'll give the metal stinger quest a try (sorry stingers, you'll be going extinct), but at what point does the exp start to fall off in terms of benefits when compared to the time spent? When will I have to abandon Drunken Mistake to go hunt monsters again?

Not sure... Maybe until you have max TEC stat (255) and necessary skills for refining and statting the im7 mage armor. The way of statting is hell. If you plan on going for full crit statter, you gotta keep your smith char to cap level. The spina itself from drunken mistake quest is great. But if you feel the exp is already too small, you can go back to nurture your dps char with normal leveling or attend some event quests.
If you have strong storm mage char, you can try another side quest for leveling your tec smith. The side quest is at garden of beginning from researcher (ghost) npc, the lv 89 choice one. A 100 stacked of that quest gives you 15 million exp.

P.S.: It seems your image of synthesizing job in toram is mistaken. We synth so we can get access to other branched skills to modify our equipment's appearnce. We don't synth so we can create buff potions or such (at least most of us are like this). I also don't care sh*ts about that many item recipes on synthesizing, but I needed to do it in order to reach at least lv 100 proficiency for 3 locks. Once I got my 3 locks, I finally stopped doing any synthesis.

Just go for Mage or Tank. Start the MQ until chapter for now should able to make your to Level 110+. In this case you already can have 255 for 1 stat and about 30-40 for another stat. Since your need a stat-BS this cap is needed. If you go for Mage, just put your stat on INT first till 200 then only use on TEC, same for Tank as well. If you still have leveling boss, boss hunting is ways more faster then the 100 stupid MS kill especially for now the leveling bonus gap is change from +-4 to +-9.

For Mage what’s you need just a queen staff, and some other magic damage boost item, all Mage gear is cheap. For tank get a Toy hammer and lil empress garb enough for your to leveling until level 170, or cap maybe. Jiangshi Hat or Circle is cheap for now, go zero slot, what tank need is player-skill and due to the what you need is only stat and refine skill, thus you will have lot of skill point to spend.

Is there any other staff I can use? I don't have the Queen staff and I doubt that I can get one soon (╥_╥)

Most easier to get one should be lil empress staff, but if possible you get from shampy drop staff, it have 3k hp.
