Help please upgade equipment

    sir/maam im just confused about upgrade equipment because if u have 40 pot item then i want to put 4matk% and int in the item but i put nega stats (magic piercing -2)its only 19pot added so the pot of the item is 56pot only but the cost of matk% is 20pot so if i want 4matk% what should i do?

    If the stats you wish to add is within the total pot of your equipment, then it will be a 100% addition, but if the stats you wish to add uses potential that exceeds that of the equipment (a negative potential at the end) then the chances of success won't be 100%. So in such cases, when your desired stats exceeds the equipment's potential and you still wish to add the said stats, there is a chance of failure (when it fails the stats might or might not get added, fail does not 100% mean it doesn't get added.)

    So for your equipment, if you still wish to have matk4% and int, you probably have to gamble (if the overall pot at the end is negative).

    PS. I apologise if I understood your question wrongly.

    this is the answer ive been looking for.. but another question... all c777 stat from armor are more likely on gamble right? i mean no armors can get a pot of 50+? i am a newbie.. hihihi

    Hello, yup, technically for armors, C777 stats should be a gamble since they consume about a total of 50 pots when you stat them all at once. However, I did see some people comment before in the forums that it is possible to achieve 100% for C777 stats on armors. :( But it wasn't mentioned though.

    But if I were to guess… You have to add the three critical stats individually one by one, I think that might help a little. It's something similar to adding Elements to weapons, in which if you were to put in 2 negative stats and the Awaken Element stat all at once, it would be at 0% and you won't be able to click 'ok' to stat. However, if you were to add in the 2 negative stats first (
    and if the overall potential is 68 pot or more with the two negative stats) and then add 'Awaken Element', you would be able to do it. So probably, you could try,

    Adding in Critical Damage 7 first, click ok,
    then followed by Crit7, click ok and
    finally Crit7% and click ok.

    I'm just guessing though :x cos I have like only 400-ish mana and can't try it :( but doing it individually should help I feel. Maybe if you like, you could give it a shot. (I think it helped when I was doing critdmg 4% and critdmg7 on a armor)


    Yup :) as of now there isn't any armors that have 50pot, you have to add negative stats to reach 50-ish pot.

    Just done adding Crit +7,Crit damage +7,Crit rate +7% on my 46pots war bowgun with success.Its of 90% success rate.

    I upgrade the weapon with 211Tec blacksmith character.I add 3 crit stats together.When adding element however i place 2 minus stats first,proceed,then add the element.

    Adding elements are on staff right?(me:newbie). In adding element did u use the awaken element or u used enhance?awaken element requires around 80-100pot right? I got staff with 45 pot. I want to make it into a fire staff. Kinda need somw advice. Thanks

    You can add element(awaken element)to any craftable item,tho its useless to do so on an armor.Yes it require around 100 pot.So you add 2 negative stats first to boost your total pot to 80-ish and gamble it by adding 1 element. After u put an element and proceed the success rate is gonna be very low since you dont have enough pots.You are gonna FAIL the upgrade and this is where your gamble starts.You either FAIL but the element remains,then yay.If you FAIL and the element disappear then unlucky day for you,the weapon literally turned into a junk.

    Just like my armor... Okay so i should put first 2 negative stat suc ah?(better neg stats what are those). Then use awaken element e.g. fire right?after this i promise i wont be bothering you with noobish ques. Thanks.

    As a summary, add negative stats that give you back the most potential. You wouldn't want to waste putting in negative stat with something that gives you back very little pot :(.

    For weapons, you can try using negative stats like 'Natural MP regen', 'Natural MP regen' or 'Dodge%'.

    And yup. Add elements only after adding negative stats. :) otherwise if you do them all three at once it won't allow you to even try.
