Help

Hi everyone, is my first time on toram, I made a katana two days ago, but I don't know anything about of set stats, skills and equipment, I try to read a lot of topics but they have a lot of unknown words for me, so i Need help for how to set skills, stats and equipment [I m currently level 38] thanks for the attention.

Katana, huh. A good weapon for soloing bosses, because of its defensive capabilities with Zantei Settetsu and Magadachi (Lv. 70 Skills), and immense Physical Pierce with Garyou Tensei (at Lv. 150), or powerful snowballing (Tenryu Ransei, at Lv. 150 too). MP management is easier as well, due to Shukuchi (Lv. 70) and Kairiki Ranshin (Lv. 150), albeit a bit risky due to the burn...

For combat basics, it should have been explained in the tutorial and by the NPCs in Sofya City... unless you're one of those gamers who ignore what the NPCs have to say and then wonder "How do I play this game!?"... For much more details, check out this tome by our lord XIII-sama... and this thread by him as well.

 

Thanks for you explanation, but what I need is not a basic explanation about the game but which choose to do leveling, which stats increase, which equipment's bonus choose , which skills branch buy, and this kind of stuff, thanks for cit the name of the best skill to take for the various situation but I m level 39 and what I want is not to be level 70 or 80 with all stats wrong and a lot of bad investment.

Katana is a rather exclusive class as its almost only use the Katana skill tree as the main skills. You cant really go wrong even if you take all the skills in the tree. Some skills are still better to be put to lvl 5 in the long run. Stats to take are Str>dex>some Vit.

The passives should be maxed out. Zantei settetsu, hasso happa would be your main damaging skills before you reach lvl 150. You can max it out and its not even that bad, but you won't really use them much once you get the lvl4 skills so it might be better to keep them at lvl 5

Other skill trees to take would be survival skill, battle skill, blade skill(optional), Shot skill(optional). That's about it, really

As how to level up, doing main story quest can get you to level 120+ with the exp reward. Friends or guildmates can be used as a mercenary to get by all the quests by putting the boss difficulty levels to easy
