I'm Meg, been playing for 3 days and im trying out the full luk mage build (maaaaann idk if im doing something wrong but I'm only tickling story bosses lmao)

    BUT ANYWAY, my questions are:
    1. I can't seem to find the bunny ears hood to craft in the blacksmith?
    2. Currently using a MD but they said staves are stronger (but MDs look cooler D: ). Is it possible to synthesize a staff to look like an MD?
    3. What can i do to the unwanted fashion avatar items? Can i sell these?
Edit: 4. What does the potential mean in player-crafted items?

    Thanks!

    Hello and welcome to Forums.
    To answer your questions:
    1. Bunny Ears Hood is craftable on Event. (Don't remember what event tho)
    2. Magic Device is good for farming because of the area of effect, while staffs are good for bosses and damage. And no, you cant synthesize a staff to look like MD. (From what I know)
    3. You can't sell Avatars but you can Recycle it to get other rewards like Spinas, EXP, and Items. Or you can Break into Star Gem Shards.
Others players can answer your questions more accurately. But this is my knowledge about the game. I hope this helps.

    1. I didn't even remember that there was an bunny ears hood.
    2. No you can't synthetsize staff and MD together or in anyway add a MD appearance to a staff. They are two completely different weapons.
    3. If you really want spina from your avatars break them down into star gem shards and make a star gem if you get enough and sell it. You need 100 shards for a random gem(skill) and 1k shards for a gem(skill) of your choosing.

    Edit: oh and welcome!

    Welcome and I will answer
    1. [Bunny ear] and [Bunny Ear Hood] are coming from Event Limited Equipment. To be exact it is on Fall Event.
    2. Magic Device is the equip that use for big AoE (Area of Effect) and range attack. Staff is used for Concentrate attack into small area with lot powers. Synthesis between Magic Device and Staff is IMPOSSIBLE. However, you can get some cooling staff, that is book appearance staff. Equip name is [Libra]
    3. Avatar CANNOT BE SOLD. However, you can Recycle it into 2 things
      • Recycle Randomly : start from Spina, Experience (EXP), Items. Possible for getting Ticket Piece and Avatar Ticket x1.
      • Break into Star Gems Shard : Each Avatar will gave you different amount of shard. Highest shard gave by Avatar (Top) and lowest is Avatar (accessories)
    4. Potential use for put customization stats inside the equipment. More potential, more better it will get. To convert Potential into Stats, you need skill from Blacksmith or Player Blacksmith to do it. One thing it important. Whatever negative or positive stats, it will cost you Material Points.

The reason behind the whole "boss tickling" thing is just that LUK mages are meant more for farming low-leveled mobs since they have low MATK, but have a better drop rate than other builds. Full INT is usually a better build if you want to fight bosses, but you can always balance your stat points inbetween INT and LUK if you want to.

Ya, but it's generally better to have an entirely different mage if you want to farm bosses.

Sweet, I'm a new (player) Mage also! These were some great questions I thought myself. Although I'm going thru a learning curve with the terminology & abreviations that players use in chat, I'm slowly (but surely ;)) understanding as I'm playing more. Don't want to seem too nooby, lol. Your questions and @Zeldris the Piety @Sakuraid @Ferrenia @Komibii 's answers helped me..

    That's good to hear! :D
Yeah, some guides and shout messages are pretty confusing if you don't know the abbreviations of things but there are honestly a lot of friendly people in this game, lol!
