Hit chance and Crit chance caps

I was wondering if anyone actually crunched the numbers on what are the soft and hard caps for hit, and crit?
Because i googled around and everyone claims: Why get hit baka, just get 101% Crit its easy
Well, being a new player its not as easy as those not so *baka* players claim, so i'm looking for actual answer to my question.
What is hit cap for each weapon? Halberd apparently has the worst hit chance, and i play it so that is the first one i wonder about most.

 

There isn't exactly a hit cap like there is with a crit cap. Wether or not your attacks hit is based on your hit rate and your target's dodge/flee rate, so hit doesn't necessarily cap (it probably does at some high number, but idk what it is).

 

High HIT is really good even if you have high crit rate, because of graze @_@

Theres no cap on HIT yet, since it's very difficult to get it high without sacrificing everything else.
