hiya, new here

hi I just started a day or two ago!

my ign is Nyair, hmu! so far im level 32 on my swordmaster main, but i'm gonna delete it and level up another since i put my stat points awkwardly, and im persnickity about these things.

i was so worried about spending my stat and skill points wisely until i found out i could just make new characters lol

might just end up deleting characters over and over lol

um, any tips would be appreciated! Thanks!

oh, and also which class is the most reccomended? and how do i craft stuff and give it extra stats?
what's the difference between a magic device and a staff?

u will have 3 slot char at least. so you can make several class. which best class is depend on how you will play it. what you like to do? defending ppl or attack mobs? or playing merchant?
don't worry, we always need to remake char. so don't too hesitate to do experiment. my self already remake char countless time. it's easy to lvling actually if u have a good farmer char.

If you are new to the game you will tend to make tons of mistakes and and keep restarting char. I suggest you to first make a mage for easier farming. Go to Nisel Mountains(menu>map) and hunt Shell Mask, they drop Nisel woods and bitter nuts which can be turn in in Sofya city for awesome experience points which is a good way of leveling if you want to trial and error builds a and stats. This also save you from worrying about stats to add and so on so forth.

first, there are no classes. you build what you want and invent a new name for it.
everything has advantages and disadvantages, you should try to match your characters with your preferred play style.

to craft equipment, you have to learn blacksmith skills. extra stats can be added by consuming potetntial, which is a stat on the created equipment.

magic devices are 2-handed weapons and staves are 1-handed, so you can use them together with a sub-weapon.
equipping a staff and a magic device is possible, but will grant you nothing, because using main-weapons as sub-weapons is only for effectively using the weapon skills and since you already have a staff, the magic device will have no effect.
aside from the 1- and 2-handed difference, magic devices have longer attack range and increase the radius of area magic.

Welcome Silhouette! Classes you MUST HAVE are the following: Mage & Full tech blacksmith. Mage your class for farming because of the aoe skills it has & its amazing power (Increase int stat often)/unlimited mana with a fast casting time mana charge skill. Tech blacksmith because u might want to refine untradable items (Ex: Shield) to maybe +E, add stats with higher % of success,ect. For more info search up da guides.

Welcome to forums! I also had to remake tons of characters so no biggy. I recommend you farm bitter nuts at Nigel mountain dropped my Shell Masks. I also recommend making a Mage for farming and possibly a Archer/Hunter. Recommend the Mage to be a Pure Luck or a 1:1 Ratio of Luck and Int. ( P.S: Luck ( LUK ) Is a personal skill which is chooseable at lvl 40) If you end up making a hunter tho ( for maybe bosses or mobs not usually for farming) make it a Pure Dex or Ratio of Dex and Crit. ( Crit is also a personal skill chooseable at lvl 40) Always use a Magic Device when farming. They add more meters to your aoe attack. Examples are storm and magic wall. These skills effect differently when using either Staff or Magic Device. Magic Devices are unable to have a secoundary weapon. Example is that they can't carry a shield. While staffs are able to have a shield, however they can't be placed as a secondary weapon. If you have your third character slot unlocked use it for a Pure Luck Alch or Pure Tech BS.
