Holy light new meta mage skill o.0

    With 4k+ matk holy light at level 10 could do 140k+
    damage to non-dark element enemies and it casted from 12 meters and is affected by cspd which is instant at 5k+ cspd, this means it can be an alternative mage matk skill to burst for dark enemies which could probably do twice or tripple damage((i will test and edit asap)) if you want to save spina of buying a light element/damage to dark burst staff xD,, update: during 2nd testing found out holy light only did 140k+ on non-dark enemies is because of physical proration from pet otherwise only 70k+ so burst still best viable skill lol

    i use holy light from time to time in combo but its still too weak to change the meta from either finale or burst, especially when non smited finale still hits like 1.7m

    Yep holy light is still lackluster to burst because during 2nd test i saw that holy light only did 140k+ to non dark element enemies if have good proration otherwise it does 70k, so burst is still the best viable mage skill xD

    I was looking for a quick animation skill I could use for combo opener so we had different goals here

    It was functionally instant because 0.26 second, and yeah i was trying to make a bishop mage that can use both burst and holy light xD

    lets hope iruna style nemesis gets introduced to toram later on as an off-branch priest skill tree similar to how ad-lib is off-branch skill in minstrel skill tree maybe it will be the game changing bishop mage lights element magic skill doing possibly 500k+ to millions of damage with certain niches like high self heals while doing high light magic damage to enemies xD

    Holy light will actually only get better with time because its multiplier is so hugely affected by INT(for staves). I think the highest I managed with it so far was about 400k with 4.2k MATK and 300 total INT on Super Death Mushroom. I used it in a combo with resonance to combat the HP reduction while dealing damage at the same and not having to waste revitas. I think it could actually be a great option for staff mercenaries as opposed to finale or other skills from the magic tree.

    Awsome that is really great to know it can be used alongside burst and resonance and can also be used by staff mercenaries!!!, maybe it can also be the main dps skill of semi tank dps int vit build bishop mage which i am also planning to build right?

    Priest skills impress me with its potential

    Sadly, overshadowed by other skills

    after putting holy light to lvl 10 and hitting 500k with 80% smite on sdm i now have to use a skill reset xD back to lvl 5 holy light for me

    Agreed but maybe it can be used as main dps skill by bishop mage int vit build on a different character slot with shared burst staff armasite finstern, shield with p&m resistance, and boss drop empress garb iron empress/noelielth ice statue, and circle of order chocolate ooze ii, and a second rosetta stone seperate from burst set that has gravicep but with a p&m resistance crysta instead on 2nd rosetta stone all self refined to +S with tec bs and luk bs character slots followed with support skill heal for extra healing and recovery to remove status like burns freeze paralyze etc, and used alongside interrupt skills like sonic wave shield cannon etc, shield skills protection and aegis and shield cannon, guard skills light armor with mirage evasion,
    with resistance and cspd food buffs and high cycle could make for a formidable semi tank dps bishop mage that can heal tank deal magic damage and remove debuff ailments with decent cspd for holy light and most importantly solo bosses with higher safety margins, what do you think of the idea? XD

    For sure I think that’d be a great idea! Since it only costs 2 MP and doesn’t leave you frozen in place like finale it gives you much more time to focus on tanking/supporting your team.

    Awsome thanks for the insight on bishop mage semi tank dps using holy light, i will definitely use it for the bishop mage i am planning to make on another character slot!!

    I tested the skill and get:
    Constant 200 and Multiplier 2.5 + 1 (if you use with Staff) + INT/50
    I try with merce (10K MATK) but the damage is relative low that a merce 2h (11.8K ATK) with enchant+buster.

    While it may be lower it will be much more consistent. Physical mercs can’t land critical hits which makes flee rate a huge problem for them. Not to mention it can be casted from 12m away which is great since mercs are just AI and will be safer from a distance.

    yeah, but enchant and buster blade have perfect aim. Enchant change to element like a player and buster heal him.

    They don’t have perfect aim sadly. ^^; they have 100% critical rate which is nullified when applied to mercs.

    Well, they hits boss in ultimate like ornlarf with the skills. I tested with my merce and skills with critic buff boost the merce and they can hit the boss in ultimate, only Skills with CRT Boost.

    The ss show the time for kill boss with merce 2h xd

    Interesting. This must have been something I missed in the merc update .o. And didn’t you post the exact opposite conclusion in the merc changes thread based on your own tests...?

    Anyway the fact remains that flee rate is a weakness for physical mercs in most cases. And holy light is a good option for magic classes.
