How good is proto clarity rose?

I use a 243+S A7CCCD17 gwaimol for my dw and 1h shield char. I recently got a proto clarity 290 ns from felien. How well does this sword compare to my current sword? I already know that, It is good for bosses with high def what i want to know is if its also feasible to use on bosses at normal and hard range? (average player here) Can anyone post a screenshot of their stats upon using a +S proto clarity too?
PS. Been watching vids on youtube and i cant believe the amount of salt this 1h is receiving XD

Other than being better against high def bosses, it also gives 140% crit(+35 crit without crit personal stat)which is way more than a statted 1h can provide, it has a 3 meter auto-attack range compared to normal 1h's 2 meters which can probably help against small boss epicenter spikes and decoy users, and last but not the least, it looks like a lightsaber

Definite pros I can give are:-
The sword is much better if you are str>agi instead of agi>str so depending on your own stat you can choose.
It supports use of decoy with a 3m range.

As for your sword, proto clarity would only be better on most normal/hard mode only if you can +S and slot it as well. If not you will notice a drop in average damage against the low def normal mode bosses.
I would say you should keep both for different bosses.

If you want an extra definite answer you would have simulate your damage against every boss by taking their def value from the annoyance table and then get an average number of bosses from there. TL;DR is any boss with around 400 or more def, proto clarity would get a massive advantage these include a lot of recent bosses: Maton sword/Crystal titan/Wandering wheel even on normal mode. Now it all depends on how much you are willing to invest in it, you might even have to modify your stat and skill build to an extent, if you are not ready for all that I say skip it.

 

When you say+35 crit, is this on top of the base 25crit?

Wow that sword is heaven sent if not for the low stability. If only i can lay my hands on that and upgrade it to B and have it slotted then insert a good talic.
