How was your game progress since 2015?

I know that I've born to Toram World from early January 2018. Just wondering what's if there's someone who were born early in Toram from 2015 lol. (._.)

A short summary of then

 

MOST players from that era already quit. Reasons might be unfair treatment on other classes, got bored, toxic community or got busy irl.

I bet some of them just play casual where gears and levels did not improved that much while some of em are rich af and just chilling or afk somewhere.

 

Must be a slacking i guess. They didn't appreciate to themselves for what they did from years ago even if they were veterans

 

I started on late 2016, so didn't really know how the game and the community was before that.

But yes, I've been slacking a lot. Only in the recent months I've started becoming somewhat more rich lol

I started around mid 2016, but becoming more seriously in playing after cap 150, which is... Around late 2017? At least it's a completely different environment back in 2016, there were not much going on aside from farming NCs and OP players are much less common compared to now. Strike stab Halberd were the thing, events didn't have a packed schedule to keep the players going, albeit the existence of free orbs from friend achievement, there weren't add me bots in rakau and people chats freely there, mostly newbies. As far as building characters concerned, it was much harder to cap even one character even with lower level cap, since you need to farm NC like crazy. I mainly made money out of selling NCs for hours. The implementation of exp level range bonus made it easier for casual players like me to dwelve into building various characters so even though the game becoming more unbalanced, I actually feel better at playing the game compared to the years prior. I'm still not the best at the game nor achieve the most out of it so I kinda still have so much things to do compared to players of the same generation that have burned out their motivation after achieving lots of stuff.

pale gem farm and dyed forest wolf garb... Then small hilt became a thing... Mino was like a truck of doom for the new blood... after that 4bdd xtals was like soo op, Having 5 would be mind blowing... Also it was raining orbs, not orb shards but real shiny and round orbs! You almost got nothing to spend your orbs tho, except for some crappy avas or buying an oblivion book every now and then, ninja ava was like a godsend, 4k ultra hd ava in everyone's eyes...

 

While l joined again recently, l remember few things~
Toram; as l knew, after Alpha/Beta ~

Most players farmed:
•Roga’s skin (Killer coat was the trend then)
•Eerie Crystal (trying to prove that myth of ‘super rare’ Crystal armour and how break ever increased its drop rates~ having one, a player was seen as a legend or something xD)
•Dawn Hat (Never discovered why..but it was very much in demand.. •-•)
•Cape (same as above xD)
•Forest Armour and its cape (same as above..)
•Nightmare Crystals (The ‘rich’ man’s way to cap~)
•Mini bosses weren’t considered much back then x3 to level, the boss was the way to go~
•Goblin of Ribisco Cave (his sword drop was very popular~)
•The Goblin at the Rock out side Ribisco Cave (That arm was famous too~)
•Decel and his Armour ( That was quite cool)
•Astol (the forgotten one...) and exploring new places :3
Oh! Almost forgot!
•Meeting Alpha players and The Albus wing code ( Former; was considered quite an ‘honour’ [back then, yeah x3] n buying/sharing the codes was a thing too x3)
(For later, Albus wings looked cool :b a symbol of ‘rich’ if you may~)
Nuff on farming~

For players?
• Community was quite friendly then~
• Guilds were actually active~
• There was no rush to see ‘top DPS’ or etc like now x3
• Players used to chill, chat n relax, hell, most times no one would farm~
• Capping was actually hard xD or leveling!
Now its piece of cake..before 100 (minimum)
•New events were actually exciting :’3
•(Almost) Everyone was clueless on builds n how stuff worked xD many fell victim to ‘all-rounder’ stats x3
• Ifm Storm/Mage/Sniper(snipe)
•1-2 Million spina was your ‘woah! That guy is seriously rich!’ ( unlike now, when 999m spina is limit n rich :’b)
• Scam, wasnt as common as now :’3 nor advanced, ya know, fooled by appearance, failed stats, etc

You guys still remember when we need to type the live stream code in japanese on int1? Lmao

i remember entering a long serial code into a special formular for promo codes. and unlike the current keywords, those codes didn't make any sense.

 

I remember that you need to type long ass serial code stuff to get some orb item
Only for android user tho, Ios users are out of luck

 

QwQ wish I downloaded Toram before the Monster legend .... Oh well a weak player like me always needs to relay on others ... But tbh there were always someone who helped me in my Toram adventure (T-T/ I miss you guys my old friends who left me alone after cap 150 few months ago .... Wish we can play again .... someday something ..... Together ...

 

Fell into 1 and 4. Honestly can't even log in without being disgusted by how much time I spent trying to make so many gimped classes compete on an equal footing to straight forward meta builds. :/.

 

Game was funnier. Mostly because we was all noobs and testing. Not searching to be ranked, but more to do the runs

 

Just to add a bit more

• Dual Wield was relevant until people only used it for cosplay (otherwise it didn't do much to tip the scales)
• Fu builds were both extremely loved and hated (and Precaria still played the video game)
• Before t3 skills we all went to Zoktzda Ruins and farmed skeletons for spina, before the apex of crafting.
• Actually most of Rugio Ruins area were relevant back then, was great stuff for the time
• The first time the game was enjoyably difficult, Roga.
• People did whatever they wanted with their stats and people accepted them into parties.
• Bowgun was better than Bow for once
• The economy was not ridiculously inflated

Then, it was a thing to try n discover the origin of n what happened to Athema ruins x3
How the Underground channel was probably, one of most confusing paths back then (basically the side route that led to astol, athema etc) x3
