How would meikyo affect bg crit calculations?

Just curious about bg snipe behind a meikyo buff. What sort of gears/stats would you need now to achieve 100% crit?

other weapon other than katana effect: crt+40 cd-5%

 

You need total 134 critical rate to make snipe 100% crit on bg
Meikyo gives +40 at lvl10 to non katana so you would need total 94 critical rate to make it.

That setup is already 93 total crit rate no CRT personal

I guess so as it is still 92%
Also do note meikyo gives -5% cdmg to non katana which can be like 4-5% total damage loss but I think it should be worth it if you get 100% crit

For tanking yes it is. I have one myself ^^ planning to add meikyo soon.
That with short musket +25 crit rate for easy crit rate without much trouble.

 

Hey Mayam, sorry but would you mind clarifying where the 134 target total crit comes from? I thought the reduction for bg was only 25% (so would need to aim for 125). Thanks!

 

Its not flat -25 it is -25% (PERCENTAGE) of your total critical rate. If you have 125 critical rate total it would be 125 - (25% of 125) = 125 - 31.25 = 93% crit chance.
If you have 134 total it would be 134 - (25% of 134) = 100%

 

Oh I thought it was the same with halberds having a -50% penalty on crtical strike stab, but it's the total crit rate not only the base?

If every 3.4 CRT equates to +1 critical rate and cr% is applied to the critical rate base (25), does the personal stat CRT affects on how much you get from cr%?
