Hybrid Class Help

So I wanted to try something new, so what are the best hybrid classes and preferred stats for them?
Edit: Also, do stats affect skills? Like if I use all Str with a sword, but then attack with a martial skill, would it do less damage than a full Agi build?

 

Is paladin considered a hybrid?

e.e the only classes toram has are swordsman mage archer brawler the other skills are support and additional stuff like that. Paladin class doesn,t even exist its only a bunch of useless skills thrown together which people call hybrids.. lol toram,s hybrids suck so much that its hard to even call em hybrid build,s

 

I always said that hybrids are a failure.Even if they could work they need much lvls to work so

 

@Faust @Lucifere I don't believe they all suck/are failures nor do i believe that everyone should fit one mould of the 4 starter classes, the other skills outside your main skills are there for a reason of course I'm not saying a "hybrid" would be a lot better then sticking to your main structure of the 4 classes but, Hybrids can fill roles and do things some classes can not like my Knight for example or Magi-knights but taking my knight who only uses guard skills, knight skills and shield skills for example (also ive made a new one not the old tanker faust lol) She can virtually keep aggro (which would be hard without the knight skills) and hold her own tanking damage better then just a plain sword user or anything can of course that involves having a lot of VIT but she also has no skills from the 4 base classes, but anyhoo i wouldn't say all hybrids are a mash of worthless skills if they can do things better then the 4 main classes. But i do agree on one thing that the more levels there are to work with the better a hybrid build will shine ah well just one girls opinion. @Argo As for Hybrid builds that comes down to you and what you want this "hybrid" to do or what role you want it to take the best thing about Toram is there IS NOT any class lock and people can experiment anyway they please

i mean if game creators doesnt introduce a class for that usually its a fail.Let compared with magic ninjas on iruna( no one want them and need a hw its needed to make their attack effective)another example of failure claw bishop(hybrid class that neither tank neither got good attack compared to a monk) and they need bunch of lvl to work,other example on iruna enchanter its the magic knight of the game works perfectly and awesome class cuz game introduce that class.

@Lucifere Oh don't get me wrong i understand your point of view but there were also a few iruna class hybrids that did work well but my main point is unless your team or you yourself demands a super high level of play which atm i wouldn't say is needed experimenting with builds and making hybrids is actually fun and also you can make some combos with non starter class skills that actually preform pretty good. Just like how a Bishop support wasnt introduced to the game as a main class but i can see players building full supports at higher levels being wanted for raids in the future but yeah as i said just my opinion

 

I didnt said some or a few hybrids works but very often they dont work cuz they don have the right skills.I wont try hybrids before i dont see what this game will bring with classes

 

I tried making a Mage-Brawler Hybrid. (Started out as a Mage because I was out of Small Articles) Right now I have 50 Agi and 32 Int, and I'm using Irogeon. I'm trying to make it into a DPS boss breaker. Probably going to restart though because I maxed Wall to 10.

 

If you wanna do a close range brawler magic class i could advise you to get agi>int>vit.and skills wall to full cuz aoe sonic wave increase martial mastery skill attack up and flee up with that could maybe works.

I have archer and i hybird it with martial
My stats is full dex
No revine in all my equip and no soecial stas and my xtal is all aspd +20
I can deal 1k+ - 2k+ with wave skill

 

Not EVERY hybrid is a fail. It all depends on how you approach and build it.

Imo, putting two main classes (warrior,mage,archer,brawler) are horrible hybrids, since they serve different purposes and use entirely different builds. Like combining warrior, brawler, or archer with mage is really...messy. Magic spells get interrupted and do best with pure int. The others do best with their own skills and stats. Unless it's just for mp charge, it's better to just choose one.

However, I think that a main class with a secondary skill can work quite well, as they have some useful skills. Knight, guard, and, shield skills are good for tanks. Priest skills are good with mages and can also help maintain the hp of a party. I'm experimenting as a mage/priest mix, and so far, it's not a fail. My dps is not horrible, but of course it can't match with a well made pure dps mage. However, I can cast bless and Gloria, which can keep pt member's hp high( I don't use the other priest skills, as I feel that Magic Arrows at 10 is better). It's a pure int build with no useless stats. Does this help...?

 

I think my main is considered a hybrid. And i'm absolutely loving the gameplay; and its really enjoyable and does its job well.

So my opinion is that hybrids do work. Just how much skill points u use, how planned out your character is as well as the equipment available

 

It reallly depends on your style. Im currently makig a PALADIN - INT VIT, kinda like ragnarok game style (Grand Cross). My character is a fighter at first, but i put my stats on INT (maybe up to 80-100) then some on VIT ( i cap it to 40/50 ). My Skills are only MAGIC ARROW n WALL (both lvl 5), MANA CHARGE lvl 10. No skills on fighter yet. Planning to get Shield and Knight skills. I'll update when i get to lvl 50.

Honestly,Esion you should start using Holy Fist more lol,it's just a soild attack with no delay.Holy Light...optional (Arrow is way better)
Priest-Mage full int is pretty solid lol due to these reasons.
Call it whatever you want,but in my eyes it's not a failure,since it covers up for two of full int Mage's biggest weaknesses; HP and Cast delay.
Although Volg could just roast you if you don't have a good tank helping XD

 

LOL. Tanks are almost always needed to make a pt go all out, especially for mages. Without them I'm Volg bait running in circles. XD Either way, Bless is affected by matk so a mage is a good mix.
