I can only forgive them if they're dead, for making me wait this long. I'm suppose to cap my 8th character, but here I am bearing the wait.

Seriously, if they're still fixing the server, they should remove the orb reward for adding friends emblem, as well as the few distance travelled.

Orb rewards should be earned for finishing a certain far main quest on ULTIMATE difficulty. That will surely fix the tuyuls problem.

The only things bots can't do is solve a randomised patterns if prompted.

They're simple to implement. And can operate in a similar manner to the monster hunting bonus.

The could replace the friendship system, with a pattern play. When to add a new friend, you need to challenge each other to a mini game that involve tapping certain patterns within the time limit.

If you increase the uncertainty, then you force them to increase their programming time. Which leads to bigger issues as it's detectable.

A lot of bots aren't that sophisticated, and just have scripted loops. So everytime you add in an element of uncertainty. They need to add a new script in.

When the monster hunting bonus was implemented, the botters had to now include random taps across the screen to trigger the monster hunting and a scroll down + select to end the monster hunter bonus.

If the monster hunter bonus used a randomised track, you had to trace along. It would have prevented a majority of the bots and tappers. As used only be able to manually trace the pattern.

There are plenty of solutions...


But obviously the best one it to just remove the shards as a reward. And invent a new friendship system that adds to the core game play. Like friendship exp bonuses, stat's, and maybe a team combo limit break...

Before the bots, indeed piercers where expensive, but its simple all we need to do is adjust, you can still play with 1s gears right? better playing with 1s gears than servers dying every now and then...

this server down happened every year so lets just deal with it and let the admins GM or devs have there short vacations. dont be selfish let them enjoy the outside world too

 

It doesn't happen every year... Last time it happened when int server overloaded... And they are not having an all fun vacation, if you happened to work on a company, you will know that they will offer over time pay if ever they cannot fix this within office hours, means they get less rest, although Asobimo is not big enough yet to host a back up server in situations like this, Asobimo is not a home based or a family business that they will ignore it when the servers are down, that is if it is indeed an internal error

Even with all that, all you need to do to avoid the monster hunting bonus is changing maps. They should make it so logging out/ changing maps won't reset your 'Domination' bar progress (or whatever the name is)

No, that's not a crisis. It would just mean it will take longer to get 2s equipment. Which won't change the game dramatically.

 

Not to mention everyone CAN live and fully enjoy the game with 1s/ns gears. It's just that people nowadays only know 2s and have become so dependent on them. My only 2s is armor, yet I did perfectly fine even with only Roga on it (now I've put Ifrid on it though)

Also screw atker rank. People should play another game if they want true competition.
